“We were looking for a place to eat before going to a concert. We found el Guerrero by accident. It had seating, ordered at counter, it was quick, delicious fish and shrimp tacos, best horchata I have ever had. Clean, quiet, friendly, helpful, knew about gluten free items. We loved it.Dietary restrictions: They were knowledgeable and served Gluten free options“
“Located in the Public Market, the food there was good and tasty, though the quesadilla was bit oily. All in all it was a good meal and recommended to try. You order at the reception desk then you are paged to get your order. The staff were friendly and “
“So what is going to happen now the Rossi is going remove the parking lot at La Esquina Taqueria? He's going to build 34 stack & pack apartments soon, there will be no more parking at the Creamery anymore and there'll be a noise control because they'll be residents living there too. I mean what is Rob Rossi thinking by hurting business like this? I remember this location used to be Tortilla Flats and it was always crowded and a great location but I can just see it now all gone. It is shameful what these downtown business owners are doing especially Rossi“
“I can’t judge the food, we did not go- fajitas plate is 35.00 a quesadilla is 15.99… a soda (no refills) is 4.99 - this is my first non eating review, but the prices for lunch simply outweigh actually eating there- do yourself a favor and enjoy the high street deli next door!“
“Everything about my visit to Taco Roco was amazing yesterday. The staff was extremely helpful and most importantly to me the pricing was very competitive and on point for a lunch menu. The food tasted amazing. I had the three tacos and they have an very tasty, they also had a nacho bar with six different types of salsa, cilantro, and onions. The restaurant is clean and there’s plenty of parking available. Definitely recommend this place if you happen to be in the San Luis Obispo area/Broad Street.Kid-friendliness: I saw highchairs, and the place looked to be fairly kid friendly.“
“GET THE CHICKEN FAJITA BURRITO or CAMPECHANA BURRITO!!! We’ve been going to this place (even through changing locations) FOR YEARS because these 2 burritos are delicioussss. If you’re lucky, you’ll catch one of the cooks singing the best spanish karaoke songs. ??????“
“This place is the best Mexican restaurant in San Luis Obispo. I give the hospitality alone five stars. Once you walk in the door, you’re transported to Mexico. The atmosphere is fun and vibrant and compliments the flavors in the food. The salsa is so good you’ll eat it with a fork when your chips run out. To top it all off, their chips have a one-of-a-kind spice you’ll only find at Taco King! Whether you live here or you’re just passing through town, it’s time to check them out. You won’t be disappointed.“
“If you are looking for a sit down, eat chips and salsa with your hot plate of gooey enchiladas then this is the place. The breakfast burrito is loaded with egg and fair amount of meat. The Chile relleno burrito is delicious as the relleno egg batter keeps its fluffy integrity in the burrito.Taco Tuesday with $1.50 tacos is good. There are quite a few Mexican restaurants in SLO that are mediocre, but Pancho's is actually great and satisfying. I find their food to be worth spending money and the prices are reasonable and fair. The service is fast and attentive.“
“Great food at an even more amazing prices. The service is great as well the lady behind the counter was very friendly and personable. The food was out quickly and they also have a good free salsa and chips bar. The only thing I could say that wouldn't be a plus is this isnt really a place to go in and sit down to eat the restaurant place is small and kinda cluttered with the over flow of the pantry stock.“
“We needed a quick place to stop for food and we chose this place. There’s a little bit of indoor and outdoor seating. The food takes quite a while for what it is but overall the flavor is good and the prices are fair. I also found the bathroom to be rather clean for a place that was kind of a hole in the wall.“
“I was in town visiting and for dinner I was craving cheese enchiladas with mole sauce. Based on people’s reviews I chose to come Maldonado’s. I am a particular of where I eat. I ordered enchiladas with mole sauce and omg they were delicious. I ate all of them even though I was full. I recommend this restaurant.“
“I liked my passion fruit mango agua frescas, and the Hot Cheeto nachos (with cheese sauce and jalepenos) were a fun, satisfying comfort food. The service was incredible (dad and son were working together, and both very kind). I felt good about supporting this little place!“
“I came here twice in one week because the tacos are so good. I love that the meat literally falls off the tortilla because there's so much of it and they give you a nice portion of consome to go with it. My son loves rice and beans and he said that they had the best rice and beans he's ever had which is saying a lot because he has pretty much eaten at every restaurant on the Central Coast. I highly recommend this restaurant!!“
“The food is amazingly good! I ordered the Friday Special- Taco Salad with carnitas. It was tasty. The atmosphere is upbeat and friendly. There is a very nice patio to sit and enjoy your food. I was going to take my food to go but decided to stay and I am glad I did. I will definately be eating here more often. Such a great restaurant tucked a away off Broad!Parking: Lots of parking, easy access.“
“Great place in the SLO Public Market. It has a nice classy feel & is tastefully appointed inside. I was greeted by the wonderful owner at the door and we chatted for awhile one day. They have a full range of Mexican foods and an expansive drink selection as well. The upscale bar takes dinning and snacking to the next level...so that one cannot even guess that one is in a complex. If one wants a more formal sit down dinner in SLOPM, this is it.Outside dinning is also an option as well.It is nice to have Mexican food done right in this market.Mucho Gracias!“
“I mean for a 6.99$ 2 taco plate, it was pretty fire, nice size, great taste and they gave tongue, brain, stomach and all that other ish, all together we bought 3 plates I wasn't feeling the jamicha , but other than tgat I feel there a great addition to the neighborhood, could change your name to taqueria grover city , and googke Justin David MyersVegetarian options: Lettuce and tomatoesDietary restrictions: Don't ask for milk or cheeseParking: Find a spot , if you need one I'll rent you oneKid-friendliness: Why would you leave your children alone in a public place you don't know about anyway, if you want a kid friendly place to eat go to chuck e cheesesWheelchair accessibility: Roll in roll out“
“I have been to a lot of Mexican food restaurants and this one has my favorite burrito. The portion size is massive, the ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the burrito (so you don't get a pocket of sour cream at the end like some places), and the meat is top notch. Chips are some of the best traditional tortilla chips out there (add some salt) and their salsa bar is fire. Staff is friendly and super short wait times whenever I go. It's a must try whenever you are in the are.“
“Upon a recommendation of a friend I decided to try the Vaquero Fries. We had a party of 11 and my meal came out 5-7 minutes after everyone else had their food. Once I got my meal it was worth the wait. The bed was melted shredded Jack cheese. They piled the fries on the covered them with nacho sauce. There was a generous helping of meat covering the cheese. Cilantro, white onions, a large amount of sour cream and guacamole finished it off. I added jalapenos on it and that was a great choice. They were fresh cut and grilled with a flavorful smokey taste. They offer a full size and a half of this meal. So if you're not really hungry go with the half because I only ate just about half of the full size.“
“The workers here are AMAZING! Tonita's is a family owned business and everyone there is friendly, humble, and kind. The food was excellent. I ordered the California Burrito (vegetarian style) and a Large Horchata and it was all good! The salsas are homemade and flavorful. One of the few Mexican food spots in SLO that you need to try!!“
“Enjoyed this sweet little spot more than I anticipated. Enjoyed a Cinnamon brown sugar coffee, house specialty, and it was incredibly flavorful; I'm going to try to replicate it at home; such a great twist on my usual drip coffee. Staff was very friendly & hospitable and brought the drink to the table which I appreciate - few spots do that these days. Music was lovely and in the background, not too loud, and had a sweet Latino flair to match the cafe. Sat in a light-filled window seat and started my day perfectly. I didn't order breakfast but they had a beautiful little menu with a lot of hot selections which seemed very substantial - breakfast tortas, quesadillas and burritos.“
