Some of the only authentic pastor you’ll get in SLO county. Really flavorful (although a tiny bit too salty). Salsa is also really good. Taco Tuesday specials make this place a no brainer.
I had been to this place a time or two and had a generally positive impression, one of the sites I service for work is near hear, and for some reason when I want a burrito for lunch, I end up going the Taco-bell down the street, which is a particularly bad Taco-Bell... I sit there wondering why I don't just go to that Mexican Restaurant down the street. Al pastor, tripas and buche tacos were amazing. The carnitas was a bit dry and lacked flavor. The drinks were delicious, fresh and homemade. I had piña, I look forward having horchata next. I like the salsa bar, can add as much or as little toppings as you like plus a good variety of salsas. I recommend the creamy green and the dark red. I would have liked some chips to munch on while waiting.
