“AMAZING! We hoped in after running some nearby errands and were so happily surprised by the amazing vibe and even better food! Everything is super fresh, there’s lots of options, and super clean both the food and the location. Very calm vibe and super friendly attentive staff which I feel like is really rare for buffets. Would totally bring friends or family for a chill lunch or dinner and they have plenty of vegan options too! Included this beautiful mango drink, chai, coffee, soda, naan on top of everything :) our new favorite restaurant for sure“
“Yesterday my mom and I tried Indian food for the first time. We had no idea what we had been missing! We had Veggie Biryani, Dal Makhani and Tandoori Roti bread. Everything was so good! I've had curry before and I didnt love it, but after coming here, I'm definitely going to explore more Indian food! The Dal Makhani was so buttery and spiced for a flavor explosion, with a kick of heat, but not too much (they called it medium spicy). The portions were more than enough for 2 people, and the price was reasonable. There was plenty of parking and everything looked clean, (although they could use some cleaner to remove the water stains off the water carafe), but we came here for some healthier food options and we were not disappointed! We will be back!“
“Curry and More in San Marcos is a culinary gem, offering an exquisite journey through the flavors of India. Their Paneer Makhni is a creamy delight, and the Lamb Shank Nalli Nihari is a succulent masterpiece. The live tandoor adds a sizzling touch to their Tandoori Roti and Naan, creating a perfect accompaniment to their flavorful dishes. To top it off, the Pista Kulfi dessert is nothing short of heavenly, making every visit a memorable feast for the senses. This restaurant truly stands out for its authentic taste, warm ambiance, and a menu that transports you straight to the heart of Indian cuisine.“
“Not fancy in appearance, but it’s very clean and comfortable. A lot more spacious than many San Diego area restaurants. The food was excellent. I don’t know anything about Nepalese food, but I liked this. I’m not a fan of Indian food, and though this food shares a lot of the same seasonings, they’re not arranged in the same way.The waitstaff was reserved and quiet, but knowledgeable. We tried too many dishes and each was more mind blowing. They even had their take on chow mein for the picky kid.Chose a 2 spice level and everyone was satisfied but not “burned”. Probably would do a 3 or 4 if it was just me and the scale was reliably linear. But 2 was nice.If you haven’t tried Nepalese, try this, it’s not what you think. It’s pretty unique.“
“Accidentally found this mom and pup indian restaurant when we came to Lowe's. Since we moved from Norcal and can't find Indian food near by. I have to say this shop meets our expectations. The owner is so friendly, and food tastes as good as we had before in the Bay Area ?.“
“This place is easily 5 stars! Super friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They are definitely passionate about their restaurant and it shows. The food was delicious. There are so many awesome looking dishes on the menu. We can't wait to come back and try more of their food!Vegetarian options: This place has lots of options for vegetarian folks!“
“My first time here and it is very very delicious food, amazing service and a positive and relaxing atmosphere. The service comes with a beautiful smile that makes the place wonderful! I am very happy to find this new place and will definitely return! Highly recommended!! Thank you so much “
“Always amazing. NOT to be confused with the other Everest Himalayan across town (which I avoid after a bad experience.) The staff here are just-the-right-amount of friendly and personable and the food is always excellent.Dietary restrictions: I've been missing out on Vegetable Pokara...there's is made.of chickpea flour and is gluten friendly! As well as the Papad which is a perfect little starter.“
“I’ve had the pleasure of eating here twice and I can’t wait to go back again. The staff are super friendly and the food is high quality. Definitely a new favorite spot to eat! I’m vegetarian so I appreciate they have a nice selection of vegetarian items. The chai tea is delicious and alone worth going back for more.“
“It’s tucked away in the shopping center so not immediately visible. It was mostly empty but we saw over a dozen people come for takeout orders. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely return. Loved everything we ordered!“
“Went for dinner last night, the food was very tasty and the service was very welcoming and efficient. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Black Daal and Butter Chicken with rice and Naan...all were delicious and we had leftovers to bring home. Highly recommend! Also, they have beer and wine available.“
“I don’t live in Carlsbad but tried Food here and it was delicious, it was clean and service was great…I come to Carlsbad every 2 months and this will be my place to eat at least once per visitVegetarian options: It is hard to find vegetarian option and this is the best place“
“Masala Street is a must try! Very friendly staff with great service. I had the Tikka Masalá (House Special), Chief Special Chicken with Bone with a Salad and it was delicious!!! They have so many menu options, great prices and portions.I highly recommend Masala and will return for sure.“
“This restaurant is in a retail strip center. It is pleasant enough but nothing fancy. However, looks can be deceiving. This is the best Indian food we’ve found in San Diego County. The lamb melts in your mouth and the korma sauce is so good, you’ll want to drink it from a cup. Every dish we’ve had has been exquisite. We look forward to seeing our favorite waitress, Kulpreet, who offers great service and is very knowledgeable about the menu too. And lastly, if you like a light, very flavorable beer, be sure to order an ice cold Taj Mahal with your meal.“
“Excellent restaurant. Best Indian food we have had in Dan Diego. The food was extremely flavourful. Staff were professional and had a thorough knowledge of the menu. The restaurant itself was immaculate and the ambience was great .Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian and vegan options“
“If you're not eating here while charging the Tessie, you're doing it wrong. This food is not only shamelessly authentic, but the guys are very cool, friendly, and attentive to customer requests. Plus... Best garlic naan in san Diego hands down.“
“Don't let the counter service format deter you. The food is excellent with complex spices and a wide variety of vegetarian and meat based dishes on the menu. The chana masala was flavorful with a hint of heat, and the vegetables pakora offered deep fried veggies with a delectable sweet sauce and a delicious, earthy green sauce. Naan was soft and warm. The dining area was soothing and relaxing. Portions are large so I would recommend coming here with a couple of friends so you can try more dishes. There is a weekday lunch special that offers a variety of dishes for a reasonable price. Will definitely come back. Glad I found this place.Parking: It's in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking.“
“This is probably the best Indian style cuisine you're going to get in the area. Their flavors are so rich and so full, they really boil down the spices well in the oil before they make their sauces -- it is really delicious. There nans are light and fluffy, and their sauces or buttery, savory and decadently rich.I absolutely love coming here, their positive attitudes and great service really make you feel welcomed. Not to mention the food is amazing, Make sure you try the lamb saag.“
