“Stopped in for dinner for the first time, but being familiar with their Fallbrook location, I had high expectationsThe food was quite good. Definitely not as spicy as their Fallbrook recipes. The ambience is nice and there’s a decent amount of indoor seating. Parking lot is from hell. The Tom Kha was tasty, and the pot size was a great value. My Pad See Ewe was tasty but definitely had more veggies and less meat and noodles than I would have liked. Kai Kua was perfect.Service was slow and inconsistent. One of our entrees came out a full 20 minutes before the second. We ended up having two servers switch off, which was odd. Dinner service manager Pat is always very friendly and welcoming and a treat to see.“
“Onny's Thai Restaurant was great! I'm so glad we found this place. I ordered the Tofu Pad Thai. I was so full but couldn't stop eating it because the flavors were so delicious! I only did level 2 (out of 10) spice since I don't like my food super spicy. I probably could've gone with a 3 or 4 just for a little kick. I would definitely recommend and would come back!“
“We had the lunch specials; red curry for her, yellow curry for me. The lunch included a cup of soup, a bowl of curry, a scoop of rice, a fried spring roll with plum sauce, and a small bowl of cole slaw. This was a good, substantial lunch and I really enjoyed it. The proprietor was very nice and attentive. There were a couple of minor things that cost them a star. The soup broth was warm and tasty, but the mushrooms and vegetables had been just added and were still raw. The cole slaw had a dollop of dressing on top but not mixed in so the bottom 2/3 of the bowl was dry. I would still go back again and try more of their menu.“
“I ordered over $200 worth of food for work party. When I placed the order they were very accommodating. I needed to pick up the food before they opened and they said that was okay. I tipped them 20% for their troubles. At pick up it was different. The food was good. I wouldn't say it's better than other Thai restaurants in the area.“
“I have lived in Vista for many years. I can't believe I have not eaten at this restaurant before. The food is delicious, fresh with great portions. The environment is relaxing and friendly. I've already come back a second time.... I'll definitely continue to return.“
“Gorgeous decor, outstanding food, good prices. My husband and I tried an appetizer, yellow chicken curry (spicy level 0 had just a slight kick), and the mango island dessert. The appetizer was like a thin egg roll with a delicious, slightly spicy sauce. We shared the curry and still took a small box of it home for his lunch. The mango island was like mango sticky rice, but with a mango chutney (chunks of mango in a sauce), instead of sliced mango, and thick coconut milk with sesame seeds on top of the rice "island" in the center of the mango "sea." It was also cheaper than their mango sticky rice. Served in a cute, round metal bowl with a dome lid. All of the dishes were beautiful. I was bummed that we didn't really fit in the booth (we're both on the larger side), and that we had to sit at a table, because the booths had pretty pillows in the corners of the benches. Though the chairs at the table were pretty and comfortable, too. The server was attentive and very nice. The food was steaming and delicious. The parking lot was spacious and well lit. All told, including a 20% tip, we spent about $50 for a really nice meal.“
“my boyfriend and I ordered takeout from 'Thai Garden' in Vista, CA last night. This was our first time eating their food. it is a medium sized restaurant inside, very clean snd bright with a choice of tables or booths. I ordered Pad Thai rice with chicken and a cup of Tom Kha soup and Thai iced coffee- no boba. My boyfriend got the Burrito. The menu has many choices. The food is very delicious, generous portions, well made. The staff are friendly and helpful.I recommend you try it!Wheelchair accessibility: plenty of easy access for ehelchairs“
“Chan Dara Thai Cafe is a hidden gem in the city. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and attentive. I highly recommend trying their signature dish, the Pad Thai. It's a must-try for any Thai food lover!“
“This is hands down my favorite restaurant in north county San Diego. I absolutely love it. My favorite thing to get is the green curry with mock duck.Drinks - fantasticDessert - fantasticFood - extra fantasticAtmosphere - beautiful and funStaff - amazing! They are always happy and friendly.I definitely recommend Plumeria.“
“My lady was craving some Pho so we found ourselves here. We're rather picky about where we go since I have a limited palate and don't care for rice or soup (much to her chagrin). This place was perfect. I got beef Bahn Mi which was wonderfully seasoned, if a bit less spicy than what I am used to, as well as some crab rangoon. And she loved the Pho. The only complaint was that the boba smoothies were a little sweeter than we'd have liked. Ultimately 9/10 will be returning.“
“Service was off. Won't get into details and bore everyone, it was just incohesive and our food arrived at intermittent intervals. There was a disconnect with who was our server. They offered compensation as a result, which was the right thing to do.Pace of food in our experience was totally off but that could have been bad luck.Food was really tasty and though it was not all authentic Thai, it had all the authentic flavours of Thai food. And some interesting, yet well executed interpretations of Thai/Asian dishes.Loud restaurantNice decor.Very good value for money.Valet parking on weekendsWould go back as food was fantastic and give service another go.“
“My family and I have been coming to this wonderful restaurant for well over a decade now, and every time we come the food is just as delicious as ever. Everything we have tried on the menu has been great, and this has been our go-to for Thai food since we first ate here years ago. The owner and staff are so incredibly kind and friendly, and we are forever patrons of this lovely restaurant. :)“
“A hidden Thai place that hits the right spots for a delicious lunch and dinner venue. We had heard some great things about this local Thai restaurant and decided to give it a shot and it more than lived up to the hype! The ambiance is simple and decorative and sets the tone.We ordered off the lunch deal portion of the menu, but the rest of the menu covers everything you could want from a Thai place. The prices are very reasonable too!We ordered the pad Thai and another noodle dish, and a couple of Thai teas with boba as well. The lunch specials are great as you get soup with it, salad, dumplings, egg roll and a smaller dish sized main. Completely worth and will fill you up! Plus the food was delicious! The service was sharp and attentive, always keeping and eye on us!Check this place out before it gets too busy!“
“The 2nd best spot I've had in escondido the food was pretty good but the service was amazing I can't recommend the pad seyu above everything else. The pad Thai noodles were a little too wet for my liking and the tofu could have been a little more crispy and a little more marinated for me personally overall still really “
“I would definitely come here again and again and again as long as I come here from Texas. The flavor of the food is so wonderful. Owners are very friendly and they treat you like their own family. Very clean and the service is excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant.“
“Cozy small place to enjoy tasty Thai food. Soups are delicious. Get them mid level spicy to enjoy at the fullest.Service is good but they are busy and in a hurry, make sure they get your order right, but even if they don't, they will for sure bring something fantastic!Skip the appetizers and go directly for some authentic noodles, curry or fish.“
“I'm quite selective when it comes to Thai food, and I find that a Thai restaurant's drunken noodle dish is a reliable indicator of their overall food quality. It should possess the perfect blend of consistency, flavor, quality, and spiciness. I would easily rate their drunken noodle a perfect 10 out of 10 in all these aspects. If you happen to be in the area, I highly recommend giving it a try.“
“I had the sweet and sour shrimp lunch special. The sauce was really good, the shrimp was tail on, which made it messy to eat. The spring rolls and won tons were truly heaven sent. The soup that was served was interesting, but nothing I would order again. I was told by my niece that was having lunch with me that the food was good but not great, and I trust her knowledge of Thai food. She said she would go back, and I was only impressed with the egg rolls and won tons and might have to go get some of those to go. Give it a try if you like Thai food. Apparently, I don't like Thai food.“
“My "Pad See You" was very good, the lunch portion included soup and an egg roll. The service was prompt and pleasant. Upon arrival on a cold January day the front door was propped open. As a result the seating area in the restaurant was cold. The interior atmosphere is blah. The noise level was reasonable, it permitted easy conversation.“
“My wife and I go to Thai Pasta for lunch at least once a week. The food is great and the people there are friendly. They do a lot of take-out and Doordash orders, but not a lot of dine-in, so it is normally a nice, quiet place for lunch. The food arrives quickly if you need a quick lunch, but there is never a rush to leave.“
“Best SUSHI in North County San Diego!!!! Aaron the Sushi Chef is a Master Sushi Chef, Bill the owner makes sure he has the best freshest fish possible…. Don’t forget to order my favorite soup Hot Pot of Chicken Wonton Soup WITH Extra Bok Choi and garlic ….. All the Curries are to die for.. the Thai Boat platter is great !“
“This place is very cozy, the service rocks and their food is some of the best Thai food I have had in the US. They make their food proper spicy, so a 7 is very spicy for most people, like it should be. We showed up for pick-up/ takeaway 20 minutes before closing and the food still hit hard. I find that if you pick up to-go food within an hour of closing at most places, the quality goes down 20-40%. Not here, it was still rock solid. The papaya salad was immensely good. The only thing that could have made it any better would have been fresher limes. The Tom Kha was incredible and the yellow curry was so full of flavor. I have been back and will keep coming back.Vegetarian options: Just ask for Tofu and no fish sauce and a lot of stuff can be made vegetarian.Parking: If you cannot find parking in the immediate lot there is a supermarket parking lot next door.“
“Pretty dang good dinner! Everything tasted super fresh and delicious. The place was packed for Tuesday dinner—they do great business here! Though as a result, the dining room was very loud making conversation a bit tricky.Service was friendly, but not overly involved. Orders were taken and food delivered very promptly. My green curry was super fresh and tasty and, while not a huge portion, was quite filling. No matter that they gave me chicken instead of the beef I had actually ordered, it was still super yummy.Super great menu for people like me with gluten allergies! I’d say around 70% of the menu was gluten-conscious. They worked well with my peanut allergy too. Much of the menu could be made vegetarian as well!“
“I've been eating here for over 12+ years but recently my husband and I ditched the sushi restaurant we used to go to and started eating here more frequently. The food is amazing. There has never been a time when the food wasn't good that I can remember. Service is outstanding. Van is a GREAT sushi chef who helps everyone else out in the restaurant and makes my husband really delicious uni shots. Vanessa and Malvin are also amazing at what they do. They are so nice and friendly. I recommend the Kelly roll, larb, papaya salad and the salmon skin roll. Ask for their house made garlic ponzu sauce. You won't regret it!!“
“Best ever calamari! Pad thai is amazing. Pick your spice level.Vegetarian options: Many to most are meatless. Modify as you wish, I added veggies to my pad thai.Dietary restrictions: GF or ability to modify and still delicious. I love the tapioca floral crusted calamari.“
“Ordered the below:1. Crispy Pork belly- worst itemOn the menu- this was not crispy- chewy- microwave heated?? - was a 0/52. Spring rolls- were good 4/53. Satay. Chicken - was ok- 3/54. panang curry with TOFU- was pretty good- 4/55. Spicy Fried rice with chicken was really good too- 4/56.Drunken noodles- chicken was ok- 3/5Service- was excellent - owner lady may be- 5/5Place is very small, so plan accordingly.Food was good but for the fries pork belly- just avoid FPBelly- rest of the food was really good.Definitely recommend.“
“Without a doubt, my favorite Thai Food in San Diego. Highlights are Drunken Noodles, all curries, and Thai Chow Mein. Was leaving the restaurant today with my pickup order and an employee shouted that I had forgotten something. Great staff. Great food. Great service.“
“Great tasting yellow curry but my god, GET BETTER CONTAINERS. Don't cheap out with the flimsy ones, get the thicker ones, they have them at Restaurant Depot right down the street. I tried for 15 minutes to open the damn thing, until I had to pry it off with a fork, cracking the whole thing. Don't let your great tasting product be affected by the container.“
