Was in the area and never really gravitated towards fusion restaurants. However this place way exceeded my expectations.Service from Sunny was attentive, friendly and personable. The clean and spacious restaurant was also not too crowded mid afternoon. The new owners that took over the restaurant decided to do fusion because she genuinely enjoys cooking food from different cuisines. Fantastic gem of a place in San Mateo. Ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint. Great texture and flavor. The classy vibe of the restaurant doesn’t hurt either.
