The bartenders are always super nice! We have always had great service. My husband and I keep coming back to this divey bar and always have a fun time with the crowd. Johnny is great and I love his stories.
We brought in pizza from next door and had a few drinks. Tom and Mike at the bar were friendly and attentive. Lots of of locals who know each other. No drama, good drinks, and good conversation. Also a good place to watch a game.

It's a dive bar. So if that's what you are looking for, this is one of the only options in downtown San Mateo. Very comfortable outdoor seating. Super friendly bartenders that wait on you when you're seated outside. We had a great time watching the super bowl at this place. As well as a couple other playoff games.
