The food is generally decent (though the bagels are far from NY-quality). And they can be a bit hit or miss. Got a jalepeno-cheddar and it was missing all but one jalepeno. You can see where they once were, no longer.
We have frequently come to this Noah's in San Mateo and wanted to keep giving it a try even though each time, the Lox and Bagel is not to our satisfaction. How can you mess up a Bagel sandwich? Today will be our last visit. A five-year-old could have done a better job of making this bagel sandwich. The lox is always over to one side of the bagel, the cucumbers are not fresh (soggy), and someone needs to learn how to cut a sandwich in half. Messed up a simple order of 2 bagels and cream cheese. Not toasted well enough and got the wrong cream cheese, disappointed as we were looking forward to taste this before our flight.
