“The breakfast burritos here are my favorite! Maple habanero is SO good! :) I just wanted to write a review because I’ve been coming here for years now & the owners, employees, & food are the best in San Pedro. One of the owners even gifted me a shirt after noticing my consist business, how sweet!! I’ll definitely continue to tell others about this place & it will forever be my favorite breakfast spot!“
“Carneceria (meat market) chicken, beef, pork, wings. Marinated and non marinated. Fresh hot food bar. tacos, burritos, ceviche. Fresh Mexican drinks, Mexican sodas and variety of Mexican candy. Only thing it's missing are Mariachis. My go to favorite is the marinated carbs asada and marinated chicken. Those two meats chopped and served in tacos will make your party complete.“
“DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE APPEARANCE! This place is phenomenal. Everything tastes like it's home made. The staff is fantastic. My only complaint is it needs a bigger restaurant for all the customers it has and should be having. The portions are good and depending on your appetite could be shared. The previous review said it. You can tell the food was made with love and the people working here show it. I don't think I could give enough praise. Go here, eat often, and leave happier than you came in. Great food here.“
“They make the best chicken tortilla soup. They are always polite and provide fast & friendly service. They have never made a mistake on my to go orders. Highly recommend!Parking: There is street parking right in front of their restaurant.“
“Drove past here many times unaware of this hidden gem. I am extremely satisfied with my experience today (1/6/2024 11am) the food and service was amazing! It was definitely loud , fast paced, and packed in there so if you’re not into that then this isn’t the place for you.I personally had a great time. I would like to add that although it was very busy we never felt rushed while eating and the staff was very attentiveWe had a banana nut waffleBreakfast sandwichLarge Order of fries2 fried peppers/ jalapeño2 coffeesFor just around $37All items were brought to our table hot af and definitely tasted freshly made. The waffle was delicious, not overly sweet, banana/nut balance was perfect it does already come with some type of syrup so keep that in mind when ordering.Fries were slightly crispy on the outside but super soft and mushy on the inside, they did not taste of old oil or any other flavor besides yummy fries / seasoning. Plus they keep their ketchup refrigerated which absolutely added to the pleasant tasting experience because the fries were piping hot ! We also requested ranch which wasn’t an additional charge. The breakfast sandwich had the perfect balance of everything it was not overly seasoned or salted and the tomato was perfect.Coffee was amazing I got 2 refills and one to go ? we were asked plenty of times if we wanted a refill never had to waive them down for one.Overall I highly recommend this place and we will for sure be back.“
“A Hidden Gem for Authentic Mexican Eats ?✨Stepped into Mr. Valdez Mexican Food on a sunny afternoon and let me tell you, this spot is legit! “Stopped in the area for a quick bite. I ordered 3 carne asada street tacos with onions & cilantro. The order process was quick since there wasn't anyone but a couple sitting in the place. It took roughly 4 minutes for me to get my tacos. It was really quick. I'd give the tacos 4/5. They satisfied my want for street tacos although the meat seemed a little dry. However, they did give me chips and the stuff that comes with birria, so eating the tacos with that was good! The ambiance was very casual. It looked cleaned in the restaurant and the bathrooms were also clean. I would come back here again if no other place was open to eat.“
“I ordered through Uber Eats. This taco place is sooo good. I ordered the carne asada taco with lemon, salsa and cilantro on the side. My lemons and cilantro were neatly placed in a bag. I loved how everything was separated so neatly. But let's get to the taste. The carne asada tacos were so juicy, plenty of flavor and not greasy. Its so hard to find good flavorable tacos these days. Growing up in LA the food and the tacos were so good back in the day. SP tacos definitely have that back in the day flavor. I will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends and anyone visiting LA. You won't be disappointed. ❤“
“This was really good food at good prices, and great staff. The ample parking was a big plus making it easy for our two vehicles to get in without a hassle (not always easy around LA). The stand out for me was the salsa in the salsa bar. The "hot" salsa actually has a good burn to it and has a rich deep flavor, and the "mild" is a very flavorful chipotle style. I was smothering those sauces on all my food--not just the chips.“
“Wow ? It was my first time here yesterday. Food was amazing. I can see it's a family own establishment. They were very welcoming, attentiveand most of all humble. And you can just taste the love in the food. Highly recommend the MENUDO!!!Parking: It's like a shopping center parkingKid-friendliness: They had a kids menu. Which came in handy because my toddler doesn't eat anything. But surprisingly he loved his taco de pastor with rice and beans.“
“We were looking for a place to have lunch after visiting The Marine Mammal Care Center near by. We are so glad we found this place! Delicious homemade tasting food! Huge portions! Very friendly staff!Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu that includes all day breakfast.“
“First time eating off this truck but came highly recommended. I ordered an al pastor burrito and a horchata. The horchata was sweet and cinnamony like I like it and the burrito took me back to mexico. The guys working the truck were friendly as well. An A+ experience. Thanks“
“I was greeted immediately when I walked in by Elisa. She was so kind. Honestly, I was so hungry when we walked in that when she asked how we were doing, I could only respond with, "I'm hungry." She then said,"we will make sure to get you some chips and salsa right away." And she did. Again, she was so sweet. I think she is the nicest person I have ever met. Soon after that we were greeted by Alex, our server, also really nice! He helped us figure out things we wanted from the menu and made accommodations for my picky children without hesitation. As we waited, we were taken care of by Ava, who continuously made sure our chips, salsa, and drinks were full. The food is good. Many items are still a great price for this economy. However, what made this experience outstanding was the wonderful service we received. I also must add that we came in about 30 minutes before closing, and this was still the service we received. I did not sense an ounce of animosity because they wanted to go home. They treated us like the guests they had been waiting for all day.Kid-friendliness: They were willing to help make any accommodations my kids needed to find something that they would enjoy.“
“This nightclub is so cool, very spacious and has neon lighting, a dartboard, 2 pool tables. They have karaoke on multiple nights of the week, as well as all different types of bands that play there. I love this place!Parking: Ample parking in the well lit parking lot with security camerasWheelchair accessibility: A friend of ours is permanently disabled and in a wheelchair. This nightclub is wheelchair accessible and our friend meets us at this bar on a regular basis to shoot pool, sing karaoke and listen to live music.“
“We just got off our cruise from Ensenada and we were in the mood for something other than a buffet style meal. Parked in the back and walked into a quiet lil restaurant with only one person working. That one person turned out to be Mr. Garibay. As the owner and the cook and the server he made sure we were satisfied with the meal and service. He made the salsa himself and I can say that was the perfect spicy touch! He even stopped by our table and was pleased to have a little conversation about his restaurant. I will definitely be visiting again.“
“Amazing food and wonderful service! I got the shrimp stew and it was amazing!! The portions were extremely generous and it was so delicious that I finished the whole bowl in one sitting. I would definitely love to come back here next time I'm in the area!“
“I stopped by the Enchilada House at 133 N Bandini St San Pedro, CA 90731today for lunch. A local, family owned and operated, inexpensive place for lunch or dinner. It's not much to look at, it's small, and a bit run down, but it has great food, inexpensive, and has an A rating. If you haven't been you should definitely give it a shot.“
“This restaurant is very spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly. We ordered taquitos dorados and they were HUGE. They were very flavorful. The pupusas were also HUGE! These were also delicious. The last plate was garanachas these were ok I’m not a fan of the cheese I believe it was cheddar. The meat was a little salty. Their prices are average and very worth it based on the size of their meals. We would definitely come back! They also have home made tortillas for tacos and have aguas frescas as well as sodas.“
