I have eaten here many times over the last 10 years and this place is excellent and has maintained this standard consistently. Tommy, the original dude who started this deli, has retired. The "new" owners are not new; they have worked for the company for years! You could spend 18 bucks on some chicken strips from Canes these days or you could head over to Tommy's and get your money's worth!!! Very good environment, the manager and staff were very friendly, I stop by all the time, my favorite is definitely the New York Rueben, I’ve tried everything in the menu and none of it disappointed me!

My coworker who's from the area said that he's been coming here since some 20 years ago and he has never not loved it. So I trusted him and we paid this place a visit. Of course I went with the pastrami... cuz of the restaurant's namesake. I liked it but didn't love it for some reason. Maybe it was a little too greasy for me? Didn't like the cheese fries either, but it's because it was so good but I was on diet so I couldn't... lol
