The ambiance is super cool. It is a mix of classic New York Italian with a sweet Frank Sinatra playing in the background. The server was very friendly, and the food was really good. Everybody at my table was quite satisfied with their meal. I would recommend any of the pasta. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant.

We came in with no reservation to a packed restaurant and they accommodated us to a beautiful cozy booth with a short wait. So pleasant about it! We try many restaurants all over Southern CA and the food and service was exceptional. Loved the pesto bread and chicken picata! Will be back soon!

I debated leaving this review as I hate to bash small businesses, but I think it is so important for people with dietary restrictions and allergies to know what a deceptive place this is. We go to Chase every time we're in Santa Barbara and have told all our friends about it. As vegans, it was so exciting to find an Italian restaurant that caters to vegans with their couple of vegan menu options. Tonight I came in and I ordered my usual -- the vegan chicken picatta with fettuccine Alfredo, ordered specifically off of the vegan menu. Their menu states that it comes with a side of "vegan fettuccine Alfredo" (screenshot attached). The waitress informed me when I tried to order that the fettuccine Alfredo isn't actually vegan, it's their regular dairy sauce. We've been here quite a few times, and not one server has informed me that my "vegan" meal wasn't actually vegan at all. I am extremely disappointed both in their deceptive menu and the lack of transparency from their servers. The manager let me know that the restaurant is under new ownership and that they "pushed the new menu out too quickly". For any fellow vegans or worse, anyone with allergies, stay far away from this place. You'll have no idea what you're actually eating. Although this is a disturbing situation for someone who is vegan, it's an outright dangerous one for someone with allergies. So disappointed.

So, it has been a number of years since I have been here for dinner...20+. Food is still fantastic! I ordered the chicken Marsala with fettuccine Alfredo. The only thing that would have made it better is if there was more. But, don't get me wrong. There was plenty of food on the plate. It was so good that I wanted more even though I was stuffed.10 out of 10!

Food was delish! Service was good...a bit delayed with courses then all brought at the same time. We enjoyed the outdoor dining. Nick was a new server but trying his best. He was sincere and we felt the restaurant needs more staff to help cover the tables. We were comped a side dish as it wasn't served till we were almost done with our entrees.

The food was just ok. We shared calamari steak and had a pasta side with marinara. Just average flavor. There weren't a lot of diners in the restaurant while other Italian restaurants we looked at were much busier. Service was curt. She didn't do anything wrong, she just seemed to want to move on as quickly as possible, not taking time to engage.

Good menu with nice variety. Wines by the glass are pretty skimpy, and not very well described (Barbera from "Italy," for example). The restaurant charges 3% to use a credit card; who does that anymore?

Today we had dinner for 7 people, and after the dinner was done and the waiter brought us a check, he didn’t mention that 20% of gratitude was already included, which made us make 20% of extra gratitude to him.I feel it was not fair. Usually, when gratitude is included in the check, the waiter mention this.

I'm a long time happy Chase customer. That's why I'm sad/mad about what happened last night. We made reservations for an early dinner at six o'clock, arrived on time, and we two elderly women were seated after about five minutes. Fine. Enjoyed our dinner and wine. Our table for two was at the rear of the restaurant between two large booths each containing many diners. We finished our main course but were still drinking our wine and having our dessert when the waiter brought our check. We signed it, giving a 20% tip. Shortly thereafter, while we were still enjoying the last of our wine, the waiter approached us saying he hoped we would vacate our table as there were persons “with reservations” who needed our table! He was kicking us out! Of course, nothing was said to or about the neighboring tables full of people. I plan to call management and discuss the situation.
