Took a drive out today while visiting SB and was not disappointed! The drive was easy and gorgeous. The parking lot is small so you will probably have to park down the road. I went on a Saturday, you can just order the sandwich and chips immediately or get on the waitlist for the full menu. We decided to get on the waitlist and it was about a 45 minute wait. If you are in the Santa Barbara area you must go to Cold Spring Tavern. It's tucked in the Los Padres National Forest and it was an old stagecoach stop along the San Marcos Pass. We had reservations (strongly recommend) for lunch and we were seated as soon as we arrived. There were five of us in our party and four of us ordered the tri tip sandwich and it was delicious.
