Came on a stormy weeknight, so it wasn't crowded. We were seated quickly. Service was direct and simple -- never overbearing. Thank goodness. The chicken shawarma plate was highly recommended and it was 10/10 -- mostly because the garlic sauce was the best I've ever had. WOW! I don't write yelp reviews but I will for Mezza Thyme I am a mediterranean food connoisseur and this was the best chicken shawarma I've ever had. I drowned myself in the garlic sauce and hummus. The cheese shambokib was a glorified mozzarella stick that I didn't know I needed in my life. The waiter recommended amazing dishes and the service was stellar!
