I’ve been to the Goleta location 3 or 4 times and every time it has taken at least 30 minutes if not longer to make a sandwich. Even when they aren’t busy. Staff has never been welcoming or apologetic. The food is ok, but the service is terrible. I’m not one to leave reviews but steer clear of this place unless you’ve got some time to kill. I really wish there were other options for local delis open on Sundays.

Great sandwich spot Lala helped me and recommended a few sandwiches based on what I liked & the one I got was really good!!! She also had great communication and made me feel welcome & comfortable! My sandwich tasted great and I will for-sure be coming back to pickles and Swiss for another meal??
Stumbled upon this cute locally owned spot!The soups are homemade and delicious. I tried the chicken orzo and the tomato bisque. Would recommend for sure. Also, the beef pot roast and the pickles & swiss sandwiches in the recommended section are both great choices! Be sure to have a couple napkins on handShown- the remaining half of my sandwich + chicken orzo soup

Attention all pickle lovers - THIS IS YOUR SPOTThis little spot in Santa Barbra is a great stop for a nice bite. I had the Pickles and Swiss and it was the perfect amount of meat to pickle to bread ratio.I also had their tomato basil soup and it was perfect for the rainy day we had.Service was great and the two ladies at the counter were really nice and down to earth :)Also to mention - They have some really awesome pickle popcorn to try for free and have Kombucha on tap!

My daughter and I ate at the SB location on 1/19 for lunch. My daughter experienced severe food poisoning from her food. Yes, I am certain it was the food she ate here. (She had the proscutto and brie sandwich warmed panini.)She was sick the rest of the evening and all night. We came close to going to the hospital. I have reported Pickles & Swiss to the SB Health Dept. If you eat here, BEWARE!
Absolute best sandwich I have had. If you're anywhere in the Santa Barbara area, take some time and stop here to eat. Will definitely come back. Thank you for the amazing lunch.

Hands-down, one of the best pot roast sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life! This is a MUST!! Second list of my favorites is the barbecue pulled pork sandwich. Don’t be fooled by the simple appearance of this place. The flavor, freshness and overall quality is incredible!
