Not the best parking situation & pretty expensive but I LOVE their potato tacos. Favorite tacos in the area.

We ordered the mushroom tacos (vegetarian option), chicken tacos and an horchata. They double up on the tortillas for their tacos so by ordering two I ended up with 4! They were really really good and flavorful, the mushroom tacos are substantial and the cheese layer on top was really good and slightly crispy. The chicken tacos are also loaded and flavorful, they reminded me of chicken enchiladas, my toddler loved them so they're kid approved! (& not spicy). Their horchata was amazingly good, not too sweet and not at all grainy. Definitely coming back on my next SB trip. **tip** their parking lot is pretty small, so I would park across the street and walk, SB is a walkable town after all!

Great variety they offer in tacos, cakes and burritos, only that I personally did not like the tortillas, they are not good, ugly dough, I would recommend other dishes that do not have tortillas. There are also waters and soft drinks.Small place and few parking spaces. Regular prices.

Terrible and overpriced for the poor quality of meat. The carne asada tacos were just straight grizzle and inedible. The carnitas had zero flavor. I ate them because I was already back at the hotel and it was that or nothing. The last item I ordered was incorrect. It's hard to understand the high ratings, but this food was disgusting.

The potato burrito is dreamy! It's worth a stop on a drive down the coast. I regularly drive to and from San Diego to San Luis Obispo, and stopping at Taqueria Cuernavaca is a wonderful and easy stop to make. I've only had the potato burrito here because I love it so much I do t even want to try anything else.

This is a pretty authentic Mexican place. The flavor of the Spanish rice and the carne asada hit the spot. The burritos we ordered were delicious. The staff who helped us were friendly. I'm not too keen with the cleanliness of the place though. I'll probably go back for a pick-up and dine from home again. Mobile pay / Apple Pay is available.

Very small restaurant, mostly to-go orders. Excellent food. Very little parking and on two very busy streets, so just be aware of that and make peace with that. It's one of my favorite restaurants in Santa Barbara, you won't regret eating here.
Recommended dishes: Carne Asada Tacos, Al Pastor Taco

One of the best burritos that I’ve had. The texture of the tortilla, beef, and cheese is nice. The salsa bar is quality. It is not easy to find good Mexican food in

Hands down best tacos I've had in Santa Barbara! Not to mention their Tortas are mouth watering. This has become a spot that I frequent and don't plan on ever stop coming here! Great prices too for the portions.
