I have been going to this shop my whole life, and i’ll tell you they have been skimping on the cream cheese which actually makes me a bit upset. The owner is a really lovely lady and we always get to talking, but they put the smallest dollop of cream cheese on my bagel it’s not worth going in anymore. I recommend the one in Palo Alto, their bagels are larger, fluffier, and more cream cheese! They have have a better selection.

I loved the house of bagels in mountain view but was disappointed when I came here. We got essentially the same things as the other location - BLT on cheddar cheese and tuna salad on a chocolate chip (cinnamon sugar last time). The bagel wasn't thick - it was flat like it didn't rise well for both bagels. There was also too much mayo in the tuna salad. My main issue was really in the bagel. If I were to go to a house of bagel again, I would drive further to mountain view.

I was visiting the area for a convention. Well, my wife was, anyway. I was just tagging along. While my wife was in a seminar, I wanted to see what a random bagel shop could offer in the way of a sandwich. I was not disappointed. I had a bahn mi, and it scratched all the right itches.
