It felt very much like Korea! What a vibe. Also the food was great. I really enjoyed the chadol gomtang. Make sure you add flavor to it (salt and pepper) so it’s not a blend taste!! Great choice for the night!
I love their haejanggook (해장국). I get them without the seonji (선지, congealed blood), so it's like a very savory beef broth soup.The gom tang, the restaurant's namesake, is also great; for those unfamiliar, it's a clear-ish oxtail broth soup that is served without much salt-flavoring. Tasty, open early and late. For me, it's the best Korean bone soup and fish soup place in the South Bay. My mother, who was visiting from Korea, approved this place, too. There used to be some food taste issue in the past, but the taste got improved significantly recently in late 2023 early 2024.
