The guy at the register is one of the most friendliest people I've ever met, attentive and knowledgeable about the food they serve and their daily specials. The cooking staff needs to up their game a bit, especially on custom orders. So far half my orders are usually the way I want them, but they're consistent on how they're supposed to be at least and portions at this place is outstanding.
I dined-in here a few months back, great food and great service, they even gave us some complimentary malasadas. I ordered a party pack last Saturday for an impromptu family get together. They had my food ready fast, they were fresh when I got there, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I asked for extra katsu sauce and they were not stingy with it. My whole family loved it, will definitely will come back again. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, cute Hawaiian ambience, super nice staff, restaurant is spotless. Given the generous portions, the prices are surprisingly reasonable. The chicken katsu was moist, soft and not overcooked largely because they used real chicken breast with a generous thickness which is hard to find. They have so many Hawaiian items on the menu, I'm going to have to return many many times.
