Had menudo and it was pretty good. Nice broth, nice amount of tripe and some other bits of meat. Soup had a little bit of funk to it. I drove over from San Jose for breakfast. It was worth it, visiting some friends too.
Maybe a little less heat in the burritos. They were just right for me, but a little too spicy for my partner.Dietary restrictions: Chips were NOT greasy or salty as is the case in many Mexican restaurants.

Best tacos in Santa Cruz!!! Granted, I didn't have tacos anywhere else in Santa Cruz, but I do not imagine any other taco being able to top these. Excellent flavors, the salsa is spicy but great and a good size taco. Husband had a tongue taco and he said it was great. (I don't like my food tasting me back so I stuck with carnitas and carne asada). The kids' burritos were also a 10: generous portions and great flavor.
