The atmosphere and environment were very friendly. I talked with several of the local folks and learned a lot about the history of the area. The service was prompt and friendly but the food was only mediocre with a singed flare that was not to my taste. I ended up leaving the specialty bread from the breakfast sandwich and just eating the center.
Great (quick/friendly) service, delivious food, and kid friendly. Perfect spot for our family breakfasts on the weekend. Also a good spot for quick breakast durimg the week or sometimes a business breakfast.Kid-friendliness: We feel very comfortable bringing our kids here. The servers always get food quickly for the kids and theres an endless supply of new silverware and napkins to replace those on that end up on the ground...

OMG THE BEST PANCAKES I'VE EVER HAD!!!!!Bread and corned beef are made in house. Our server's name was Dylan and I can't remember the last time. I had such an attentive and helpful server. Everything in this restaurant is top notch. If you're going out for breakfast or lunch in Santa Cruz, I highly highly recommend it.
