I love their tri tip sandwiches with salsa (picodegallo) and the beans and rice. The rice is so sticky you can grab it up in one piece and put it in the beans, soooo good. This place has been here for a long time cause they have great food and service.
Definitely get the tri-trip sandwich. The bread is crispy, and meat is juicy. Although if you hate well done meat, don't get it. Since the slices are thinly slice, it cook faster. I recommend the ribs if you want something cooked medium rare. Big side salad, good macaroni salad, great fries.

Definitely a take out spot. I had BBQ pork chops. They were thin and chewy. The beans were tasty and the potatoe salad was okay. My wife had the Korean meat which also was pretty standard. All in all, I'm glad we tried it, but there are too many good spots in SM to return.
