I swung by Popeyes in Santa Maria again, and wow, what a turnaround! This time, everything was spot-on. My order was perfect and ready before I could even start wondering how long it’d take. The vibe in there? Ordered during lunch time and was told I had to wait for my sandwiches, totally fine (I knew they'd be fresh). During my initial order I asked for a Mardi gras mustard and paid $.25 cents for it. When arriving at the window I was told 9 mins wait and said sure, "please make sure to get the sauce I paid for" the girl acknowledged me and I asked if I should park in a spot or just pull forward. First time at popeyes. We got the chicken nuggets and they were so delicious and moist! The dipping sauces were so yummy. We loved that they played Southern blues music as well. Definitely added to the atmosphere.
