“quiet peaceful place The workers are also very friendly and take their work seriously.Parking: There are paid hourly training sessions and a waiting area for passengers in total it will be difficult to park there if you want the car to be right next to that very restaurant“
“Decided to try this place as it was all vegan items. I ordered the pad thai and added their beef substitute to try it. I wasn't a fan of the dish in general. The sauce was more on the sweet than tart side. The beef substitute was okay but didn't really go with pad thai. Overall, it was okay but I would have to try more items to really decide on if this place is worth it or not.“
“I visited this restaurant for a work lunch for the first time. We came around noon and the wait was non-existent. Our waitress was very friendly and answered questions about the menu. This place is a gem that we would call (back home in TX) a whole in a wall. A small, quaint space with not much to look around.I order the Pad Thai lunch special with added broccoli (+$2). This came with a vegetable roll and petite salad. Our food came out hot and delicious! I had zerooooo complaints and would definitely be back to visit!“
“Most underrated sushi spot in LA!! I've been coming here for years and it's still one of my favorites ever. The Ultimate dragon and white dragon rolls are incredible, and they have amazing happy hour deals. Everyone working here is so sweet - we've gotten a couple dishes on the house over the years. Would absolutely recommend checking it out!“
“I'm Australian and we have Thai restaurants everywhere. But this place is the best Thai I've ever had!! Sweet family business that's been running for 22 years. Food is delicious and Poom (whose parents run the business) is an absolute sweetheart. We had the dumplings and panang curry. So flavourful!!“
“Thai Dishes is my new favorite Thai restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is fantastic. The waitresses are super nice, very friendly, and they're very attentive. The ambience is very peaceful and I like the decor. I really like their Yellow Curry with tofu and their Vegetable Spring rolls. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.“
“I have gotten takeout multiple times and it is always FANTASTIC. Really hot and fresh. The yellow curry, eggs rolls and chicken satay are some of my favorites. The place looks dated from the outside, but inside it is very clean and a very well run establishment. You won't be disappointed with the food. Highly recommend.“
“Deeeeelishis Thai food!!!OMG!!! ?I ordered the green curry, vegetable tempura, pad Thai noodles and fried rice.VERY FLAVORFUL!!!It was all very delicioso ?Vegetarian options: It's Vegan, so you're good!Noooo worries!Parking: Free parking lot and metered street parking.“
“We loved the Portland location and had high expectations when visiting in LA. Fortunately, Farmhouse Kitchen lived up to its reputation! We visited over lunch which provided a special menu option with soup, appetizers, and entree. Service was impeccable - so friendly and attentive. We'll be back!“
“Great food and really nice looking restaurant. I was a few minutes later than expected picking up my food and the server mentioned they were just about to call. Very friendly and courteous service. All of the food was great, but the Bang Bang Broccoli and the It’s a Hit (tempura jalapeño) were especially special (intentionally saying special here twice). Will definitely be back again and happy to be living so close by!“
“It has delightful atmosphere and kids friendly. Fish taco is highly recommended. The Japanese food is modified for some American style, but we still like it. The wait from ordering to the first dish was about 15 minutes. The table is shaking. So I only give four star for service.“
“Our group of four went on a Friday night. We didn’t make a reservation, but our wait was only 20 minutes. If you go on a weekend day, recommend making reservations. The 20 mins we waited was well worth it. We have eaten at many Thai places over the years in various states. In SoCal we have a couple of favorites, but when we were here recently it was too far to drive to them. So we discovered Ayara in Culver City area where we were staying. Excellent Thai dishes! Good size portions and reasonably priced. I had the Ginger stir fry with chicken and requested basil be added. It was delicious and fresh. Two of our group ordered spicy basil chicken stir fry with a fried egg on top. They loved it. I would never want a fried egg on top of my Thai food but to each his own. It looked really yummy even with the fried egg, though. Fourth person got a dish with shrimp. He liked it but was a little too spicy for him. But that was his fault as waitress told him it was spicy. It looked delicious to me. If you aren’t into spicy, make sure you order something else or extra mild. Our waitress, Patty, was a delightful person! We will definitely come back here if in this particular area again. See picture of spicy basil dish with my post. I forgot to take picture of mine and other person’s shrimp dish.“
“What a lovely meal. Our server, Alan, is the greatest. Friendly, charming, w/ great advice for our meal. Food was delicious and the pacing made nothing languished at our table. The music is the exact right volume to make sure your conversation stays yours while the surrounding voices create an exciting din. Will be back, 100% Thank you!!Wheelchair accessibility: Bathrooms are wide enough for a manual chair, staff is delightful & accommodating. For a small, older restaurant it's remarkably accessible.“
“Quaint little restaurant about a mile from Universal Studios. Awesome Thai vegan offerings with wonderful service and atmosphere. Very convenient location to local hotels, as well!Vegetarian options: Good vegan meats. I had the eggplant and tofu, others had curries. Very yummy!“
“Loved this place! Super fresh ingredients and very friendly staff. Ordered the Nam Tok Salad, the Chicken Pad Kee Mow (Drunken Noodles) and the Isaan Larb Kua. Everything was really tasty and the server was great about explaining the spice levels. The Nam Tok and the Isaan Larb Kua were especially delicious because of the use of lime juice -- that tangyness paired with the spiciness and the savoriness in both dishes was a winning combo. In terms of spice level, I'd say that I usually like spicy food and handle it well, and the Medium was just right. There are additional chili sauces available if you want to dial it up a little bit. Very generous portions and I was honestly quite stuffed. The price is also ridiculously low and I have to say this is one of the most amazing value Thai places I've ever been too -- the pad kee mow was $12.99 for the chicken version!! They were making pickled chilis on one of the side tables, which is one sign you know this place is legit -- when they make their sauces and condiments from scratch, by hand. Really looking forward to my next visit here.“
“BEST pad see ewe I've had in LA! I'm quite picky when it comes to Thai food. I'm one for authenticity when it comes to food in general. So I like to learn the history & stories behind the food, and the people the food represents. Very friendly & welcoming service. Bright, simple, and clean ambience. The fried mango-sticky rice rolls are an excellent and a quite ingenious version of the typical mango & sticky rice dessert! I also appreciated the check out process with their handheld device & they take Apple Pay. From the beginning as I entered I felt welcomed, again throughout the service was like being waited on by family, all smiles; and to the end of the meal, bows and smiles! 3 suggestions though: 1. The Thai tea could have been done with little less milk and more tea, and maybe offer other milk options like almond or soy milk, but it was still very flavorful and smooth! 2. I would like to see an upgrade in the glassware used for drinks like the Thai tea, hopefully in the near future. 3. Need better professional pictures up on Yelp. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical in trying this restaurant as I saw there were only 94 other reviews, yet it all averaged 5 stars! So I always make a point to try restaurants that possibly may have been overlooked or underrated. This place is definitely an authentic gem one all would enjoy! They actually deserve 10 stars I'll definitely be back again ;)“
“I loved it here. My mom who is super picky, still raves about it. We will be back for sure but im not a fan of dogs being able to come in. There is even a pick that shows a dog on the table (uughh). I love dogs and have one myself but i keep him home when i dine out.“
“This is one of my favorite vegan restaurants. It's actually a Thai restaurant and it's so amazing. Start with the soup. It's so delicious and authentically thai. I've never had a bad meal here and it's definitely one of my staples for Los Angeles. Yes, it is completely vegan!Vegetarian options: Menu is all vegan“
“We went to The Thai Thing several times for dinner and had, for example, fried chicken pieces with honey, lime, garlic and a curry soup with chicken, carrots, onions, potatoes and rice. My husband ordered everything medium hot for himself. For me it was just acceptable in terms of spiciness. Everything looked fresh and homemade and was delicious. There is only one toilet for the entire store, with no natural light, but the windows are clean. The waitresses were super friendly and even ran after us to give us tips on where we could go.“
“So good! I tried a number of menu items and loved each. The shrimp soup was perfectly spicy and packed with wonderful flavors, the appetizers (hot wings and chicken skewers) were outstanding and my entree - pad see ew with beef was just perfect. The service was ideal - helpful fast and informative. I'll definitely be back very often!“
“I've been coming here for years, I can't believe I haven't written a review! I love their food. My favorite item to order is their mung bean pad thai, although I wish there was an option to get it with soy chicken or beef and not just tofu skewers. The tofu cubes are huge so the flavor doesn't really penetrate them. I like this dish because the noodles and veggies are flavorful. My family also enjoys cashew nut lover dish and the buddha rolls. Those are so filling, I can just get those and be happy. If you like thai tea, you must try it here. So good. One star off because parking is difficult, especially on weekends, and it's a little pricy for me. The good thing is that inflation has led to all restaurants raising their prices in the last couple of years, so I am more used to it and not as bothered as I used to be . Note: the seats are incredibly uncomfortable so if you dine in and have back issues like me, bring a cushion.“
“Stopped by for lunch while I waited for my dog around the color! Ordered a soup, seafood fried rice, street food pad thai, a roti and a coconut flan .. it was all super yummy! Not too much oil, sharable and enough left overs to eat later!Service was friendly, approachable and super attentive. I’m not sure why it was slow but I’d be here once a week if I lived near by!I highly recommend it!“
“Very much enjoyed the food and experience here. Small quaint place with charm and authenticity. I had the vegan pad Thai which was well prepared, and the tofu and vegan chicken were tasty and nicely incorporated. Would love to try the curries next time.“
“My personal favorite Thai restaurant to support ! They are so genuine and always so kind to their customers. They prepare their food with fresh ingredient's and every meal has been delicious! The food is consistently good here. We really love everything here from wonton soup, pad se ew, pumpkin curry, pineapple fried rice and the papaya salad to name a few of the faves! Excellent combos for lunch too! Dine in, take out and delivery available during lunch & dinner.“
“We had a very nice birthday dinner for my friend.Service was excellent.Wait time for food was a little long. One suggestion is have a spicy level for those with a sensitive palette. We ordered a side of mango to cool down the heat and that hit the spot :) Overall great experience , definetly be back.“
“The pad Thai was good, although the noodles were a bit thinner than expected. The crab fried rice was also filling and delicious. However the start of the show was the mango sticky rice and the Thai iced tea!! Service was also so nice and attentive!“
“We ordered online for delivery, but wow - it’s AMAZING FOOD. The flavors are delicious and portions are good. We will definitely be ordering from here again or visiting in person.Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and I love that they offer options for this. The food didn’t seem to bother my stomach too much“
“They belong in the cloud kitchen in Culver City. This is convenient for pick up. Cloud kitchen is a concept where there are multiple kitchens located in the same location. Food can be ordered prior to arrival to cut the wait time. They will call you when food is ready.I ordered:1. Grilled chicken - chicken is very moist and flavorful!2. Crispy chicken krapow with sunny up side egg - moist chicken3. Mango tropioca“
“It's plated very beautifully and the food is all amazing, especially for being vegan. It's a tiny little restaurant, only three little tables, but it's all very good and very very well priced, especially for CaliforniaVegetarian options: It's a vegan place. They have a number of dishes labeled 'chicken' and whatnot but when my sister opened it up it was clearly not on the inside, but still goodWheelchair accessibility: There's ~3 accessible parking spots and a small ramp“
“First time trying this Thai restaurant. Everything was delicious and light. The food was fresh and the colors were vibrant. Every dish was as expected and even exceeded our expectations. Ample parking in the rear. Also love the tin cups that come with the beverage. Really keeps the water or soda beverage cold.“
“Was taken there for the first time last night. Nobody in the place at 6pm. By 7pm, there were no empty tables. After having the magic and me krob appetizers, I could see why. Then the entrees came. Branzino, duck, spicy crab noodles and curry shrimp. Hidden treasures were treasures, indeed. Service excellent. Personal and friendly. Superb food. Was my first time. Will definitely NOT be my last.“
“Really great pad see ew and good service. The soft drinks have free refills and come in huge glasses so that's a plus as well. The restaurant was quiet and the tables were a bit close together, so that wasn't ideal, but overall def worth it for the great food.“
“Known for their highly Instagrammable "Magic Noodles" that turn from blue to purple when you add their sauce. Fun and pretty decent meal with good sized prawns for protein. We also got their Drunken Noodles. A little smaller for the portion comparatively, but overall good flavor. They also have a brunch menu and Bottomless Mimosas for $25 wirh a 90 minute time limit! Pretty good deal and you can walk to the West Hollywood bars from here. Service was good and definitely kept our glasses filled! Ambiance is a little dated, but still cute.“
“After scouring Yelp for mildly healthy food options, I walked in with a couple of friends and was almost confused as to where I just walked into. You could say I was pleasantly surprised because it is a quaint and sweet ambience, very homey and the food tasted just as superb as it looked in pictures. Our server was sweet and didn't make us feel bad at all for walking in an hour til close. I will absolutely be returning!“
“Absolutely delicious and authentic Thai food! The Tom Kha was spectacular, the green curry and Pad Thai very good, the Thai tea excellent and the mango sticky rice divine. The best I’ve had so far in LA. Staff seemed a bit grumpy, but still nice. Lovely decoration too.“
“Amazing amazing place. The cashier and chefs are the kindest people ever. The food tastes authentic and truly amazing. It was raining and they were so kind to let us shelter and enjoy our food inside temporarily. They treated us so well and we couldn't be more grateful“
“The food was not bad, but the pineapple fried rice was too spicy and the tofu was not so tasty. The mango in the salad was not ripe and sweet enough, but I love Thai vegan, so I enjoyed. Sorry for the 1 star less, I will give a try next time again.Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free and dairy-free options.“
“I've tried what seems like 100s of yellow curries in LA and Sticky Rice has secured the #1 spot on my list! It was perfectly creamy and just sweet enough which I struggle to find. they also put crispy onions and cilantro on top which was a surprise bonus that made it even more delicious! We also got the roti and green curry which was bomb...the roti was super flaky which I hadn't seen before. Also tried the shrimp rolls which were good!“
“My friend who used to live in West Hollywood many moons ago was visiting for the weekend and suggested Galanga Thai Fusion, one of his favorite spots from back in the day. Um…. Yum! We popped in for lunch on a Friday, so we took advantage of the lunch special prices. $10 for a starter salad (delicious light and tangy dressing!) and an entree. He chose his favorite standby - green curry chicken - and I selected the spicy tofu mix. We also shared an order of the spring rolls, which were light and tasted super fresh. I’m thankful that the friendly server pointed me in the direction of the spicy tofu mix because it featured three different preparations of tofu in a zesty basil-influenced sauce. I’m excited I get to enjoy the leftovers for dinner tonight! If I’m ever back in WeHo, I know where I’ll head for lunch: back to Galanga!“
“Hands down the best Thai in Los Angeles. We loved it when we lived nearby but hadn’t had since a move to studio city. I was in the neighborhood this evening and inspired to grab take out — Tom Kha, lime chicken and bbq beef w Chinese broccoli — and it’s every bit as amazing as I remembered. I have to make it a point to go again soon because I forgot to add the fish noodle curry and it’s historically my favorite. Thank you, Noree Thai for making my night!“
“Wonderful as always. Was waited by Pani, who I know from both LA and Studio City locations. Hadn't seen her in a couple of years, and the moment she met me as I came through the door, I was reminded of what a warm and gracious hostess she has always been. Plus, the fairly priced vegie soup was as warm and wonderfully filled with my fave orange, white, and green delectable that I fondly remember that keep me coming back for more!Vegetarian options: PlentyParking: Large shared lot“
“This place is SO good. The service was amazing, kind, and generous. We got the fish beignets, fried chicken sando (so yummy!), Wagyu, beef bavette, oysters, and olives. The bavette's sauce was especially good. Menza was welcoming from the beginning and very personable. Already told my friends about this place and plan to come again!“
“We eat take-out dinner every Friday night. Sometimes from one of three Chinese restaurants, sometimes from House of Thai Taste. The food is quite tasty, well seasoned, spicy but not *too* spicy. Our favorite dishes are woon sen soup (chicken stock with vegetables, "glass noodles", bits of chicken and a shrimp or two), woon sen beef (glass noodles with bits of beef and veggies), and yellow curry. The only problem is that they sometimes get orders confused. Several times they have given me somebody else's order, or _mostly_ my order but with the wrong soup - tofu instead of glass noodles. I've learned that I should (1) order by phone, not over the web, and (2) pick the order up in person so I can check it before I take it away. Getting it delivered is an invitation for mistakes. In spite of the mistakes, the food is tasty enough to make it worthwhile.“
“best and quickest Thai food that I have found in LA. always super flavorful and always hits the spot! plus if you order take out and spend $30 dollars you get free egg rolls, which are super tasty!! everything feels so made with love as well. you can taste the quality and effort in every bite. I'm sure there's better or whatever out there but for the price, so good always!“
“This is the best Thai restaurant on west side you can’t be centricity the food, the portions and hardly ever fool with people in the diner. You can enjoy a nice peaceful evening with your significant other or by yourself it’s very comfortable. This is the only place I go to get Thai food on the west side.“
“Service was a little slow for having 3 tables in the whole building. The food was really good. We ordered some drunken noodles and 2 pad see ew. They were delicious. I asked for a 7 spice level. Boy, did it have me sweating. Even though it was spicy I couldn't stop eating.“
“I absolutely love this place! I came in for the Pad Tai and it was very delicious. But their Tom Kha is freaking fire! The Chicken Mushroom Curry Soup is to freaking die for, I got the large with extra chicken and I've died and gone to heaven! Definitely making this my local Thai spot moving forward. Excellent customer service and easy ordering online for pick up.!“
“My favorite, go-to Thai food in LA and the best krapow on the west side. Better than any other kra-pow I’ve found here by a mile. Noodles are amazing. Always nice and extremely fast service, very reasonable prices. Every once in a while I’ll try somewhere new and I always come back here.“
“The food here is excellent, the place is really small with about eight tables, but pleasant. There's a little wait sometimes for ordering. All in all highly recommended. The other day I had their dinner special for $15 which included a Thai iced tea, an entree, a salad and shrimp fried rice with a couple large shrimps. Incredible deal and extremely tasty.Parking: There's a big city parking lot next door. There are also meters.Wheelchair accessibility: There's one step that's about 6 in into the restaurant.“
“Have been twice and everything I've tried has been amazing--as in the conversation at our table all stopped and we spent several minutes raging and exchanging amazed looks. Very fresh and delicious; very prompt and friendly service. Highly recommended -- I will be back many times for sure!!Vegetarian options: Everything.“
