It's a shame this business has gone downhill. We've come here for years. There are still long term staff here that we love and the food is still solid, this review is not about them. The shame is that they have to work for management that lies and has become greedy (look for the very rude guy working behind the bar). They do not honor their coupons. They are no longer nice. They do not listen to long time customers. It's hard to go local and supply greedy management who are so rude. I now understand why the wait staff sued the owners for not honoring their rights.

I was told The menu I ordered on line with from there website is not correct. There was only 1 tamala which was dried out and crunchy. There was no sour cream lettuce or tomatoes. A small scoop of rice and beans. That was it for 16.95. Very disappointed. I will not be returning to this

I gave the service a 4 star because she was so busy we didn’t get to really interact. Pozole is delicious and Chile verde was excellent and my sister had Chile rellno . Great secret spot with good tequilas

Went today as a first-timer. All I gotta say is .. why is this place not full! The food was amazing. The people working here were so nice towards my kids. So, Santa Rosa, go try this place. You won't regart it !

Updating my review to five stars to reflect the past few times I've visited. Glad I gave them a second chance!Original review: I've probably gotten takeout from El Charro for my son and I 10 times in the past few months. Their food is very good and it is convenient. I typically do online ordering including making payment. Even though I literally just walk in to get my food, I still tip. Had a very frustrating experience tonight which will make me reconsider how frequently or if I visit again. I placed an online order and paid for a supreme burrito with no tortilla and supreme nachos. I could see that there was only one small bag of chips so asked for a second bag. Nachos can get soggy so it's nice for my son to have some fresh chips, and I like chips too. I asked for a second bag of chips and was told, "no, sorry." What???? Incredulous, I kindly repeated the request saying, shouldn't there be two bags of chips given that there are two meals? She said no again. I mean they saved the cost of my tortilla and they can't provide a small freaking bag of chips? What poor customer service to a regular. There are plenty of other great taquerias around. Might just have to drive a bit farther.

Authentic Mexican food. Great place to dine, clean restaurant, great service and decent prices. They have multiple salsa all with great flavor. They make their own chips and tortillas. On the weekends they offer menudo and pozole. They even serve breakfast. We will definitely be back.
