We used Hotel E as our hotel for our wedding weekend, and everyone (including us) was very happy with the experience. The Hotel E manager and staff were incredibly easy to work with, very accommodating, and very reasonably priced in comparison competitors. Would absolutely recommend them to others and to any friends and family coming into town.

Mehh! They claim parking available but what that means is that there is street parking if available. That birders on false advertising . Another guest in front of me was equally displeased. Then they set their AC on some " green setting" which practically disables it. When I complained, the front desk person copied an attitude. I would recommend a hard pass on this plaxe.

This hotel is only 2 years old; the renovation of this old building is spectacular. It is expanding over the next couple of years with coffee bar, restaurant and more suites. Close to restaurants. Do note that parking may cost. Street party is limited. Valet cost $16 per day. It has a spectacular lobby with a WINE BAR! Enough said! Stay here!

Comfortable, clean, quiet, great location and such a relaxing environment. We will definitely return. It was absolutely perfect in every way. So many options up and down the streets for places to eat, socialize and enjoy. The atmosphere was happy uplifting and live local music was playing.

A/C broken (was told previous guest pulled wiring from ceiling and since we called right away they know it wasnt us!! As if they were going to blame us if we hadn't called them right away!) It was really hot the first night and the windows don't open (not even a few inches) nor did the hotel have a fan we could use, toilet paper holder fell off of the wall, view overlooked rooftop of restaurant w/A/C units and vents, pushed into valet parking as we were told they've had cars broken into out front where there is only a few metered parking spaces, pet friendly but nowhere to take pet out other than small gravel ally FULL of about 200 cigarette butts, porter (young man) left us the luggage cart to load, take downstairs, unload and return, had to get 2 new keycards on second night. To top it off, over charged my account causing it to go negative. We asked for compensation for these issues and was offered a pitiful $25 - which we still havent received.

I loved this boutique hotel and wish we could have stayed longer. We would happily return. The rooms were adorable and we had our own wing with two rooms overlooking the square, so we could close off our wing and let our puppy wander between the two rooms. Cozy and private! Loved the walkability to surrounding restaurants and shops. The staff couldn't have been more attentive and kind. I had no idea where to stay prior to choosing E Hotel and chose it based on location and prior reviews. So glad I did!

This is a great hotel in a renovated, historic bank building. Hotel E is hitting it on so many fronts, but really missing it on a couple. Front desk staff was kind, helpful, valet was great, room was charming and clean. However, advertised as 'luxury linens'... my fitted sheet had 3 LARGE holes in it! I could hardly believe it! Definitely NOT luxury linens. Also, no bathrobes as advertised. Because of COVID, there isn't housekeeping unless requested. However, there wasn't a liner in my trash can, only 1 little bar of soap, 2 coffee pods... I reserved for 4 nights (2 people) I felt uncomfortable having to ask the front desk for basic supplies. I wish they had noted I was staying for 4 nights and at least supplied adequate items to get me through. Yes, the hotel is pet friendly, however no 'poo' bags, girl at front desk had no suggestions for dog friendly trails, businesses, etc. Downtown Santa Rosa used to be charming and beautiful.. now there is a significant homeless population and many empty storefronts... it's sad to see! I walked my dog early and late and though I didn't feel 'unsafe', it was definitely far from ideal..

Had a great stay at Hotel E in Santa Rosa. If you like a big comfy bed, real glasses to sip your wine and a shower big enough to spin around in, plus great stylish decor, this is the hotel for you. Everything in this hotel was first class.

Lots of hotels put the word “luxury” in their description and can’t even meet a 3 star rating. But this hotel is in fact luxury! It is quaint, definitely comfortable and in a GREAT location!! This place is perfect for a quiet retreat whether your traveling solo, with a friend or a couples retreat. The best part is their love for your fur baby! It was a no hassle stay. I’ll be back!

Brand new wine lounge in hotel. The atmosphere was not inspiring. Sterile, with brighter lights than we expected and very minimal decor. The wine list by the glass very limited for the heart of Sonoma wine country. We were not impressed by the wines we had and each glass cost 18 dollars.

After so many changes to the downtown area and how long projects actually take, I was surprised to see the "lobby" / Enology doors wide open a week ago. We couldn't attend the Grand Opening, which was last night but we visited tonight with some friends to raise a celebratory glass of vino for a new job. The space is tall with random artwork, lots of stool & high backed comfy chairs. The plan if to have a highlighted wine of the month; this month's is from Belletto Vineyards. They are also offering a fun selection of craft beers in cans. Keeping in mind it was their 2nd official day open, I will put aside the kinks ;( no alternative beverages except water, I did receive a glass of Sprite on the house because they didn't know how to ring it up, very awkward seating/table arrangement). The four of us really liked the overall experience. Right on the square, gorgeous facade, huge windows and when the neighboring place is completed..... it'll be an impressive section of downtown. We also thought it was fun to see visitors drive up to the guy/valet and head inside with luggage for a stay. This specific area will be a sought after destination reservation.
