Food was tasty but the service lacking. I will try again another time hoping today was just an off day.

Absolutely delicious food with amazing service!! The ambiance is top notch and staff is friendly! A great experience if you want a real German style meal!!Vegetarian options: A nice selection of options!Parking: The main parking is behind an urgent care and google directions sends you down past the urgent care to find the restaurant. The main front door is not clearly marked but two different doors are easily accessible.

Went here for my 18th birthday with a party of 13. They accommodated amazingly and had great service. The general consensus around the table was that the food was great, just not my personal favorite cuisine, but nonetheless it was good. Great atmosphere, outdoor and indoor seating, and great staff. Definitely recommend checking it out!

I Did not like the living wage tagged on to my bill. I probably will not eat there again. It's up to the employer to pay a living wage.

We were looking for a dog-friendly place on our way home from Guerneville and found this gem in Santa Rosa, not far from the freeway with plenty of parking. The menu has both Italian and German offerings and we were focused on the delicious German food, beer, Gluhwein, and excellent, attentive service. We had sausages (at least 6 options were available), sauerkraut, garlic fries, and a brisket pastrami sandwich -- it was all high-quality and delicious. Our dessert was bombolini, an Italian doughnut filled with hazelnut cream. We (& the dog) look forward to going back soon to try more options, including the salad, piadini style and the chicken schnitzel saltimbocca.

Sauerbraten leaves something to be desired. Lacked vinegar, ginger and sweetness. Overall, very disappointing. Same with the red cabbage and the spaetzle was very dry.

A cozy restaurant with incredible food! Their menu is full of authentic old world German dishes, and the wine/beer/cocktail list is quality. You can tell there was a lot of love and thought put in. Our server Stephanie was very kind and took time to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Don't miss this spot!

I've been here twice. The first time I got the weiner schnitzel with gravy and the large pretzel with cheese sauce and mustard. Honestly the schnitzel was a bit dry and the gravy was thin and lacking flavor. The fresh pretzels are delicious, but they cost $12. This is a glorified piece of bread, though really well executed with dipping sauce; $6 would be more appropriate. Some restaurants give this type of thing away.2nd time I went here I got the chicken schnitzel saltimbocca because this schnitzel came with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese and crispy prosciutto. I figured this one would have enough flavor. It was a good dish but the schnitzel was too dry; the edges were super chewy.I talked to a friend who said "oh yeah I went there once and got the schnitzel. It was dry and I like my wife's schnitzel better". His wife is not German. ?Service is very friendly and the ambience is pretty good inside or out. I guess I just don't recommend the schnitzel.
