The minute we stepped into this restaurant, we were greeted by a nice young lady (who my four-year-old child greeted with a nice compliment of her dress). She placed us near the open kitchen and after we ordered, we were surprised with a plate of little munchies including grapes, celery, carrots, cheese, chips, and peanut butter (for free). My daughter devoured this. We ordered a cheese pizza for her and a sausage and caramelized onion pizza and three grilled shrimp tacos. We also shared truffle fries- which we were planning to take home but never quite made it since we ate it all. The food was great- the smokiness of the sauce in the tacos paired with the grilled shrimp and the freshness of the slaw in the tacos made it perfectly balanced. The ambiance felt lively with the open kitchen. I loved watching them place the pizzas in the beehive oven and the pizzas came out perfect. The staff was very attentive and filled our drinks when it was running low. I was very impressed with this place and will be returning with my family again.

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Bland food that is very overpriced, horrible customer service and left me sick. Will never come back to this place. Too many other options in the area.

This place is pretty pricey and I feel like the food is just okay. Got the shrimp tacos but it definitely needed more salt. They have a nice bar but didn't get any drinks with my meal. Service was a little slow which was surprising given that I didn't come on a busy day. Plenty of tables and cute date spot but I'll probably pass on coming back.

I picked the place randomly, just wanted a quick bite before going to an event in town, to my surprise this place was pretty good, great service, great food and great atmosphere. I was seated as soon as I arrived and all the crew worked together to help serve the tables. (Unlike some restaurants where another person won't touch your table because is not their section) overall it was a great experience. Will definitely come back to try more dishes.

Food mediocre to average, service and staff very nice and attentive but Mussels were just boring and over a dozen NOT opened so inedible My 2nd visit here and sadly would not return Because more of the same Probably great for young folks wanting a watering hole, place to gather and have cocktails after work This area simply not what you’d expect of Wine Country dining!

We enjoyed a fun date night the other night at Jackson's. As always, the food was screaming good. We just kept ordering and ordering. The menu is extensive, thoughtful, and delicious. We were seated upstairs. First, I thought there was a risk of not being taken care of, but NO! We had the best seat in the house and our server was so wonderful. We had two rounds of drinks, three rounds of food, and even moved tables because we had a last minute plus one join us. Cheers to Jackson's maintaining such excellence over the decade.
Food is always very tasty with something for everyone. Service is also always very attentive. Their bar also makes the best lemon drop I have ever had! In our opinion the best place to eat in Santa Rosa. It is noisy but people are friendly & to get this level of food & service, we deal with the noise.

My order was for a New York steak, cooked medium. Served rare and was sent back. Returned medium rare and it was so tough I could hardly stick a fork in it. Ambiance best suited for a cafe. Don''t know how they get such a good rating.

Had the truffle fries, housemade sausage pizza w/arugula, skillet garlic rolls and rootbeer caramel cheesecake. For a cocktail i had a "French 75" with vodka not gin...My gawd!!! Everything was sooooooo deelish!! California wood fired comfort food at its finest. Had a great time with the bestie. Thank you Jackson's, you NEVER disappoint.
