Love the Port of Sub sandwich I get every day. The people are friendly, hard working and take pride in what they do. They have a great team of employees. The place is very clean, bread baked fresh daily. You don't have to ask for extra love on your sandwich, it's always on there. I'm in and out in 5 minutes. There are sandwich shops closer to my work, I go out of my way to eat there.
Port of Subs has been my jam for over 30 years, I live really close by it and have watched it change ownerships over the years. The folks there now are awesome, they are kind, the food is really good and they do it right in front of you so you know it's fresh. And everything is clean and the place, while small, is welcoming and chill. While it's hardly a perfect sandwich shop, Port of Subs does at least give a consistently better product than most of the competition in the area. Not too much bread, what seems like decent-quality deli meat, not stingy with the cheese or the olives (olives are one of the most expensive produce options at Subway, in case you ever wondered why you feel like you get a sprinkle of olives on your footlong), and friendly and fast service.
