Ordered cashew chicken lunch meal. I found the restaurant to be very rigid in that it was impossible to order 1 egg roll. I also thought the staff were quite stuck up and rude. The chicken and rice tasted rubbery/chewy, poor flavor and a waste of money.

Hidden gem in Santa Rosa. Food was delicious. We ordered cherry crispy pork, orange sesame beef, war wanton soup, happy family, po-po flaming platter and all were great. Our favorite was the orange sesame beef because it was just with the right amount of batter (lightly battered) to make it crispy but tender beef. Highly recommend!Parking: But after 6pm, it was free. You can park behind the restaurant or around the streets.

I've been meaning to try this restaurant since it was mentioned by the Press Democrat as having been around for 25 years while other Chinese restaurants closed during the pandemic. Though I ordered my food to go, I did notice that the restaurant was clean and tastefully furnished. The friendly hostess/waitress recommended Kung Pao Prawns and Fish Fillets in Black Bean Sauce since I love seafood. I also ordered Spring Rolls and the Tofu Sautéed with Veggies. All were delicious but I could not stop eating the Kung Pao Prawns! This place is on par with the best Chinese food restaurants I grew up with in Silicon Valley, and I will definitely be back.

Lived in Santa Rosa since I was 5 years old and I turn 38 next month, yet somehow I never tried this absolute gem. The food, service, ambiance, and everything else about this place is absolutely beyond amazing. They will forever become my go to for delicious Chinese food. So happy to celebrate their 25th anniversary and hope for 25 more years at the very least.

I would say Ting Hau is an accredited Chinese food restaurant. I enjoyed the interior of the restaurant. I also liked how busy this place can be. I had talked to the waitress and she said her family has owned the business in Sonoma county for 24 years, since the 90s! They have obviously grown their community and I love to see it. I enjoyed their rice and chow mein very much! I also liked their soups. I had their wonton and hot sauce soup. Their shrimp and veggies were pretty good too. I didn’t really like the red sauce that comes with the veggie rolls. The prices matched the portions. Nice and clean bathrooms. This restaurant is located in downtown Santa Rosa right next to Russian Brewing Company and a retail store and across the street from Barnes and Noble and an optical office. There’s parking in front of the restaurant as well as behind the restaurant. You do have to pay for the meter for both places. There is a parking garage as well behind the restaurant and across the street that the first hour is free at and ¢.75 after. I would recommend to try at least once!

We’ve been going to this restaurant for a long time! They are very nice, and the food is good. I do feel like it’s a little bit expensive, but that’s expected with Chinese food. We got veggie, chow mein, broccoli, beef, and lemon chicken. It easily fed two people and costed $55.

The food is overpriced. We ordered here because of the other reviews. However we got minimal meat on the house special fried rice, the kung pao chicken and the general chicken had more veggies than actual chicken. The chow mein had a funny smell to it for whatever reason. More importantly this place made me and my partner sick. We ordered it yesterday and I called politely today to ask for a refund since after eating this we felt sick to our stomach. The lady said she would get back to us and that they could offer some percent off. I said I just wanted a refund since I got sick after eating from here. She said she would speak to the manager and call me back, and of course the call back never came. I would be weary of coming here, we came here bc people rated it highly and ended up getting sick.
