Terrific products and good cooking, the views are wonderful (come during daylight). One of the best clam chowders we have ever eaten, terrific prawns and mussels, great sole (scallops were just okay), great execution overall. Desserts are not at the same level, but still okay. Great place for romantic dinners as well as for groups. Prices were decent for the experience. The Spinnaker is a Sausalito institution, a place to check off a bucket list of dining places...not for the food, per se, but for the perfect setting on the Bay with an unobstructed view toward the San Francisco skyline. Unfortunately, it is also a missed opportunity...an underutilized ambiance that doesn't take advantage of itself as a Mid-Century architectural gem. Food was really good! Great place on the water with sailboats floating by. What a view! The server was great, but should NOT take smoke breaks in the middle of lunch service (really off-putting right before you eat). That said, overall service was great. We had the scallops, burger, and TBLT. All very tasty!
