“Unfortunately, when I ordered the Flying Dutchman, they didn't know what I was talking about. When I explained, I got a double-double with a slice of raw onion in a bun..I tried on another visit and got a grilled sliced onion inside the bun. But the gentleman who took my order was very nice, but had a comprehension problem.“
“Delicious food, great price, awesome service! Great serving size! One of our new favorite restaurants!!! Thank you!Vegetarian options: I’m not vegetarian but I’m sure they offer plenty of options!Parking: Parked right in front of restaurant!“
“One of the best kosher restaurants in LA valley. We enjoyed it so much. The classic burger was a great choice, our kid loved the sloppy burger, we also took the chicken wings, crispy mushrooms and grilled cauliflower. For dessert we took the lemon tart which was delicious.Perfect place for a family dinner or lunch.“
“Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Pineapple Hill, and it was an incredible experience with my friends. The locally sourced foods were incredibly fresh and delicious, perfectly complemented by the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Their hospitality made our visit truly memorable, and I'm already looking forward to returning next week for another delightful meal.“
“We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Valley Burger Bar! The food is incredibly tasty, and we highly recommend trying the schnitzel and lamb – they’re outstanding. The burger and Cobb salad were also delightful. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant for its delicious offerings.“
“I’m not a fan of cafeteria style eateries but this place is an exception. Had the Chinese chicken salad and it was very good. Great atmosphere for a client meeting, day date, or if you just want to get out somewhere. Because of the outdoor space it works with kids too, if you are okay with ordering at the counter then finding a seat.“
“Islands is a classic family favorite. I miss the giant birds that they had at the old location back in the day, however the modern day Islands is fresh take on the beachy island vibe of yesteryear. They have a spacious outdoor patio, bar space and plenty of booths inside. The menu has changed quite a bit over time (they have a burrito on the menu now?), but they are typically known for their burgers and fries. Their fries are so good and they always come in a large portion. I can never get enough! I ordered the big wave and the kid's burger for my son. For your burger you have a choice of bun (wheat or white) or you can do it lettuce wrapped. I thought the kids menu had a lot of great options for littles. My son really liked his side of pineapple! However his burger was SO salty. It was saltier than my big wave burger was, so not sure if this was a fluke or the kids burgers are just saltier. Didn't love it. I enjoyed my big wave. It's exactly what you would expect and the veggies on it tasted crisp and fresh. Service was great too! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Overall the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere is enjoyable. I come here more for the nostalgia of it but I do crave their fries often!“
“The West side location used to be our favorite. I didn't even know this one existed until I Googled it. The store was clean, the staff was unbelievably attentive and friendly and we found out kids eat free on Tuesdays! The food was so hot and fresh. We'll definitely be back.“
“One of the most delicious burger and fries I have had in a long time and thankfully, not overpriced like everywhere else. The food was not only very good, but the people that work there and the service was incredible. It was nice to be among people that were so kind in this day and age.“
