Amazing flavors that’d make even a non seafood lovers mouth water. My waiter Daren was so nice and accommodating. The place runs like a smooth oiled machine pumping out some of the most unique and flavorful Hawaiian/Mexican/Asian dishes in the world. Try the steamed muscles and yuzu aguachile. They are just ?
For Hawaiian fusion it’s pretty good, with some unexpected items such as the potatos bravas stealing the show. Some other items were less impressive, with the filet mignon in particular, despite being very tender, too out of character for this place. Malama Pono has been my favourite restaurant in the neighborhood since 2021. I have always enjoyed my time here. Wonderful food and staff! BEST crispy rice in town!! Come here and you will not be disappointed. I’ve brought different people here and they all loved it. Everything on the menu is delicious.
