“Best smoothie place I've been to in awhile, love that the default strawberry banana is dairy free. Will definitely come back whenever I visit from San Diego!”
“okaaaay sierra madre pop awwwwfff! bartendies are ????⛰️⛰️ so cozy. 1940s music. always a food truck. isn't freezing fkn cold inside like most places. generous amt of heaters out in the garden in the winter. easy street parking. dog friendly. straight out of stars hollow. gilmore girl gang rise up, this is your new hangout.”
“What an extremely pleasant surprise of a small restaurant. I mean the food was fantastic (tried the kebab sampler and the kofta appetizers; and my date and I just fell in love with the place). I really can't say enough about how delicious this place is. Nice outside seating on the sidewalk. The wait staff checked on us frequently but also gave us time to enjoy our food and date.”
“This place is a hidden gem. I went in for an Açaí bowl for lunch and it was one of the best. The fruit toppings were so fresh and the Açaí base was delicious. The owner Eugene was there and he asked me what I thought about the food. I really liked the Rio bowl.I told my daughters about the organic Juice dude because they like to get snacks in town after school on Fridays. I am so happy knowing that the kids will eat or drink items that are healthy and refreshing. The kids raved about the Açaí bowl and that the store gave them a 15% percent discount because they are students. Thank you for the great food and service.”
“Incredible Coffee Shop in the beautiful town of Sierra Madre. If you are in the Pasadena/San Gabriel region, this coffee shop is a must visit.Aaron knows his coffee and is connected to many of the specialty roasters. They do an incredible pour over and have an excellently curated rotating selection. When I heard they carry El Paraiso (one of the best coffee's IMHO), I was sold. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable, and you could tell they take their coffee culture seriously.I had an excellent full bodied brew of La Papaya Typical from Ecuador, a washed coffee.Tip: If you purchase a bag of coffee beans, you get free cold brew or drip coffee.”
“After our Station of the Cross in Mater Dolorosa, we walked in to have dinner in Yui. All the food we ordered were great, especially the salmon collar. The place was full, but they still accomodate us. Customer service was great.”
“Owner is super nice and respectful. Shows how much she cares about her customers. And this is why we love coming here, besides food being so delicious ? God bless her and her establishment ❤️”
“Update: 2024. Been back since my “ missing avocado toast” incident. Almond butter croissant is excellent and told to WAIT for the toast when paying and receiving my bakery items. They have seating for small parties of 1-4……..The service is friendly but they’re all trying to help each other with larger orders and no one verifying completeness but of course they charged full order with $8 avocado toast missing. And yet, I’ll be back because those damn chocolate almond croissants are ridiculously good.”
“Atmosphere was lovely. Our server, Vanessa, was amazing, knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. Great experience!”
“We celebrated my mom's birthday by doing a surprise breakfast for her. They were able to accommodate our party and plus a few extra last minute add ons. They ade sure our coffee cups were never empty, the food came out to us hot and without mistakes. Everything was yummy! They even sliced the cake with brought. So appreciate their service with a smile!”
“Amazing food both for breakfast but surprisingly casual dinner also. Thank you to the server who took over for the lady who seemed to be having an off day. He really changed our experience.”
“This is the second time that I have eaten here and on my second visit I was blown away. After going to RT Rodgers Breweries 6th Anniversary I came in for a slice of pizza. Last time I had their NY style pepperoni but I was happy to see a whole Detroit style pepperoni which I had to order and order I did. I ate it there and happily waited for about 10 minutes as they heat up my slice. When my slice was ready it looked delicious. Lifting my slice up to my mouth I bit into it. The crust was airy, the rim was crispy and the pepperoni was great and not greasy. The sauce on top was over ther top and had a subtle tomato sweetness that complained the whole slice. The next time I come here I will definitely be ordering a whole Detroit pepperoni.”
“I went to Casa Del Rey in Temple City for years and loved it. This one did not disappoint. As a vegan it is difficult to order and yet our server Melissa made it easy. I had a veggie taco and wonder refried beans. Both were delicious. I will certainly return.”
“best pizza by far, kinda dont like that its small and cant eat there because someone is already eating there. Mostly get it to go but their cashiers are always quick and attentive to my orders. The calzones are fire, the cookies too are bomb. Best pizza this and pasadena pizza co.”
“This place only serves breakfast and lunch, otherwise I would probably eat all 3 meals here! Super friendly, unpretentious, and cozy. Not easy to find...which is wonderful!!”
