Even though Simi Valley has not more than a handful of Indian restaurants, there are representatives in this class that deserve a visit. One of these eateries is Indian Haweli, on Los Angeles Avenue. It maybe the only Indian cuisine location that has a lunch buffet ($14.99) in Simi. The dining area is small, but well appointed, with simple decor. Five stars! My husband is from northern India and we've been coming here for years. Their food has become better and better. It seems like they are making an effort to improve the quality of the food, including fresh chutneys and piping hot fresh naan. It's not fancy, but the food is delicious and the dine in experience very quiet and enjoyable. We'll be coming here more often.
