“Really great place. They have a lot of local beers on tap such as Enegren, Topa Topa, Made West, along with a few others. They have big TVs all around with sports games on, it gives more of a sport bar vibe than a Mexican restaurant. The service was really fast and friendly. The food was really good I had the Carne Asada Tacos Street Style and the Chicken Nachos. I feel the Tacos were a little pricey at $3.75 each however the Chicken Nachos which I think were $12 were really good and came with lots of toppings and the Guacamole that comes on the Nachos was tasty as well. Over all great place to chill and eat some great Mexican food.“
“If you haven't been here what are you waiting for? From the moment that you walk in the door, you are greeted with the biggest smiles and open hearts. It's the best fine dining Simi Valley has. The service is spot on. Christina and her crew are always at your table checking on you. The food never disappoints. So many delicious options on the menu. My favorite is the filet mignon in peppercorn sauce it's top quality meat served with the fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes or sometimes I switch and have mushroom risotto delicious. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. Also excellent wine list and homemade desserts. Creative salads and freshly made soups. Like I said what are you waiting for? Call and make a reservation. bon appetit.“
“First time at Bao and it was fantastic. We place an rder for two and the clerk took our order with ease. 15 minute wait and we took our food home. The food was fabulous tastes and piping hot. Excellent Choice and next time we dine in because the atmosphere was very comfortable. Thank You !!Parking: Parking is plentyful infront of the restaurant in a parking lot of there place.Wheelchair accessibility: No problems wheeling into this dining area.“
“The best Marinara sauce I have had on the west coast! So vibrant and full of flavor! Its not scorched! No bitterness from overcooked tomato sauce! Thank you! The chicken Marsala is divine...so smooth. The Chicken Picasa nice and tender. Tiramisu to tempt the tastebuds...superb. Service is spot on and very attentive. Look no further...this is it!“
“A great steakhouse. That is what it is and if you are going for the so-called modern place is not that. Great food the best service. Well prepared steak, seasoned lightly, and cooked perfectly. The sides were a perfect size. The cobber was fantastic.“
“Both my wife and I ordered the 2 piece fish combo. The batter on the fish was crunchy and good, not overly oily. And the fish inside was moist and tasty. We also got a side of onion rings that were crunchy and flavorful. The owner is super nice.“
“I was here for a private event which the owners were kind enough to open for a friends private birthday party. We got to enjoy their very interesting mix of different foods and they were all amazingly good. I don't throw out the 5's too often but the ribs and lamb lollipops were a big surprise and tasty our group devoured them. The sushi and rolls were fresh and very good and the mexican shrimp tacos were very good Overall great friendly owners who appear to be like family in the neighborhood.“
“Food is always amazing. Had the steak with shrimp wrapped bacon and it was amazing. Service was spot on. They were attentive and constantly making sure we had everything we needed and the food was prepared properly. The restaurant is a little on the dark side but it gives it a nice ambiance. Can be very romantic. Also not very load inside which is nice. Don't have to talk load to hear each other.“
“I love this place and the employees were all so great and made me feel very welcomed. The the food was amazing to they serve breakfast all day and I was in that kinda mood but my husband ordered the taco's and they were delicious it all was.“
“This place is ideal for a delightful date night. Their food happy hour offers a delectable selection—we enjoyed oysters, grilled artichoke, and garlic fries as appetizers, all quite tasty. While my husband wasn't impressed with the Jambalaya, the overall experience was wonderful. The patio, equipped with heaters and a charming fireplace, provides a cozy ambiance overlooking Simi Valley. Highly recommend this restaurant, even if you don't indulge in alcohol.“
“Fantastic service great vibe. Food was good a little above average. They are a cantina but DO NOT serve alcohol. They said they will be soon but as of our visit they did not. The pork belly was amazing and the best dish we had. The quest fundido was delicious but the addition of chorizo would have made it over the top delicious. The Asada is not a traditional Carne Asada. It was a bit chewy and I would not get it again. The breakfast tacos were delicious. You can't go wrong giving this place a try and maybe you'll enjoy the asada more than we did. I will definitely be back once they open the bar and give other items a try.“
