We celebrated the new year luncheon here. You need to make a reservation first cause they have lots of customers. Their flavors of dishes here are all awesome. It's an authentic Cantonese cuisine. The special bun is astonishing. It has shrimp, chicken and vegetables in it and filled with the soup. Tasted great. The seafoods here are very fresh. Solid food, primarily classic Cantonese. I've had their green onion oyster, and it was quite good.. and I'm not a big fan of oysters! Their lunch specials are a little pricey, but come with generous portions, soup and rice. When they get busy, service can slow and their free parking lot fills up quickly during peak hours.

One of the more traditional Chinese spots in Pasadena. Given the proximity to SG, Alhambra, and Monterey Park, aka 626, I would say Oak Tree delivers in traditional authentic Chinese food.I've been here multiple times. Service is quick and efficient w nice portions. Food is seasoned and not bland. The menu is pretty extensive (3-4 pgs). Nice cue into good food.Seems like it draws in the neighborhood local, which I love.
