Vanessa was great! We are looking for a wedding venue and booked a tour last Friday evening. This was our third venue to visit and the customer service Vanessa provided is beyond any other venue. She is extremely responsive and took a lot of time with us explaining the services provided. Even more impressive she was patient with our many questions and was even giving us ideas for how to make our day special. I can not tell you enough how much she makes us want to pick this venue!

We booked our Memorial reception at the Elk's Lodge through California Catering. I was on the heels of an untimely death in the family, and was anticipating making 20 calls to find a venue; with just one week til the service, I was worried we wouldn't find anything in time. I left a message for the Elk's Lodge, and got a call back quickly. I worked with Vanessa from beginning to end; she explained every aspect, and was very empathetic of our situation. She was there every step of the way to ensure a smooth memorial. I went into this blind, and was calm after the first call. The event went very smooth, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend California Catering at Elk's Lodge for all of your special events. You'll be glad you did.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! This company has no sympathy whatsoever. My sister in law was planning a party for my father in law on 12/8. Unfortunately she passed away in June and we've decided to no longer have the party. I called the company, not even a week after she died to ask for the deposit back and they will not return it even though they are aware of the circumstances. We've called multiple times asking to speak to the manager that has never called back. Think twice about doing business with a company who has no empathy for their patrons.
