This place was decent. There was plenty of seating before the rush and the food was good. Some of the people I visited with forks and glasses were dirty but they were quickly exchanged. The drinks were perfect and strong!!!!

Born and raised in South San Francisco how in the world have I never been in this place the food is delicious me personally, I got the salmon, but everyone around me was asking for the prime rib and the specials my son got the steak sandwich. Food was extremely delicious and our waitress. I believe her name was Mariafull of energy just extremely awesome service. I don’t know how I missed this place my bad it’s my go to now.

We had a very nice birthday dinner on a rainy Tuesday night. We ate wonderful comfort food. Sandy was awesome and made us feel so welcome. The Garden club is a North Peninsula treasure. We will definitely be back.

This is a great little restaurant, that I love to support. It is certainly an unlikely destination given its location and age. But I love to support local businesses, especially restaurants that have been in families for generations. While it is nothing fancy, the food does not disappoint. Everything is delicious and prepared to order. I found the service to be good, attentive, but not overbearing. When I’m in the area I love to stop in and my favorite is the salmon salad. There’s plenty here for everybody. I’m very limited on what I can eat, but in a recent visit with a large group everybody seemed to especially enjoy the prime rib.

My wife and I have been coming to the garden club for about a couple years,food is tasty most of the time.last we went in sign said seat your self,We sat in our favorite booth a young man handed us a menu and water immediately .another group showed after us sat down,I booth over and the old skinny blonde waitress sever them and walked away from us.we got up and left I can not recommend this place anymore..

Came here on Thanksgiving and the service was superb. We had the prime rib and it was delicious! It came with minestrone soup and a side salad. Our server was amazing and the staff was extremely friendly. Overall, the Garden Club made my Thanksgiving wonderful.

Great neighborhood dive. At least half the bar is old retired regulars. It seems like there were lots of "old man" bars back in the day. I guess local demographics have changed. You don't see old people at many bars anymore. But I'm happy to say you will at the Garden Club. Also, it's a good place to hang out while you're waiting to pick someone up at SFO.
I'm updating this review post-pandemic. The prices have obviously changed however the food quality has declined. It's the same menu but the prime rib was poor the last two visits. The meat was undercooked and filled with gristle for both my wife and I. This may be one person's opinion but I don't think you should be paying more for a lower quality product.This rating is two stars as I still love the servers. The ambiance is still the same but that old school mobster feel has lost it's charm. Now, it's an overpriced location to get a poorly cooked slab of meat.
