I've eaten their tan tan ramen a few times over the years, and it has been consistently excellent every time. Just the right amount of heat with a good mixture of ingredients. Well maintained restaurant and friendly staff too.

Good food a bit pricey for the amount. Very small sushi.

We were at a friend's birthday dinner. It was very good! The whole front area was filled with her friends! The birthday person had karaoke, which was very nice!! It is great when you are a regular there!!! Thanks so much for allowing something special for a special friend.Parking: On street parking was the only way to park, so it was difficult to join the great friends. Fortunately, we make it!

Beef dish was overcooked and tough and the chicken was overcooked and dry. Left it.

The best sushi in South San Francisco. Maybe in all of San Francisco actually .Look no further. Local South San Francisco resident here when I come here every single week. Cindy and her staff are like extended family to me.Highly recommend getting the Toro sushi and King salmon in Nigiri. The miso soup is some of the best you've ever had. And the galbi dinner is also extremely delicious.Don't listen to any of these negative reviews that are posted here. They clearly didn't order the right things or just don't know what they're talking about. Amazing service and even better food. They have TVs as well where they're playing the game. If you're interested in watching the warriors Dominate.Take my advice for it. I have to eat at Michelin star restaurants for work on a weekly basis and this is definitely up there

We were lucky to find this place while heading up to SF and craving some ramen / not wanting to deal with city parking.I got the fried chicken ramen and it was delicious - they don't skimp on protein, and the broth was decently spicy. 5/5, would recommend.

Service was 10/10, the guy was just awesomely friendly. Solid place, roll was yummy, not sure if I was just hungry or something, but the wasabi was good. Chicken teriyaki was minimally seasoned which I liked, but to most people they would probably think it was bland. Come here for the sushi of course, not for the other stuff. Will try more rolls in the future.

Ordered 5 different sushi and I'll be brief... the worst sushi I ever had. I have never given such review, but I can’t help but share it with others... it feels like I was eating old sushi.

The Spicy Garlic Miso Ramen fell short of expectations. The flavor was mediocre, lacking depth and a pronounced garlic taste. Service was slow, and the prices seemed high for the underwhelming food. I wouldn't hurry back for another visit.

My family and I had the stuffed mushrooms, spicy wings, and fried garlic crab for appetizers. We then had the chicken ramen, beef ramen, tonkotsu ramen, and the spicy sea food ramen. The service was awesome. The food was just as great as the service.

Sashimi and sushi was very good. Salmon teriyaki lunch special was ok. The gyoza in the lunch special was deep fried, not pan fried as traditionally prepared. We didn’t get to sample their ramen. They got one of our orders wrong, there was no apology, and it took a long time to get the correct order served. It wasn’t too busy during the lunch hour. We were too impressed.

We ordered delivery of two chicken ramen bowls from them. We were about 50 cents shy of the minimum order, so had to add a $7 appetizer that we didn't want. We chose them because they were only half mile from our hotel and promising short delivery times. We asked for our Ramen medium spicy. After 40 minutes, a while after food was due, I called to see if it had been delivered (since we didn't find it in our lobby). They told me driver was picking it up, and we'd see it in 5-10 minutes. So I told them thank you. We are literally a few minutes away. Still 20 minutes later no food. I called again and got the same promise as the first time! Ugh ?. Almost $50 for two bowls of ramen and a forced appetizer. When it finally arrived it was not that hot and they hadn't added any spice as we had requested. Such a bummer. I wish they'd make this right! Otherwise we won't be trying again! Based on our experience so far, I'd recommend not to waste your money!

We wanted some noodles, and Izanami did not disappoint. We had mild to medium vegetables in miso and almond milk sauce - delicious!!! We ate there twice on our recent visit. Highly recommended!!!Vegetarian options: Sushi rolls, appetizers, and main courses
