This Valerio's bakshop is located in Seafood city food court area. Plenty of parking in the parking lot. They have plenty of space but not much baked goods. I was looking forward to sampling all my childhood favorites but the hopia and ensamayada though had the flavor/taste was quite dry and I was charged twice for the hopia when I only bought one. The pan de sal that I purchase was alright.

My non-Filipino mother, niece, and sister-in-law excitingly visited this location as they all love Asian pastries. Sadly, unlike the other Filipino customers present, they were coldly & rudely served. The employees made a point of giving them the worst looking pastries and were quite racist, especially to my Hispanic sister-in-law. My mom and sis-in-law each purchased identical items, but they charged my SIL extra. If you look at their Google reviews, Valero has a history of overcharging customers. Make sure you look at prices and your receipts closely.I do not recommend this location to non-Filipinos or anyone for that matter.

The Filipino chain bakery is locate inside the Seafood City shopping center. Great place to pick up some Filipino baked goods. This location is pretty comparable to other Valerio's, not dirty, but not overly clean either. I tend to gravitate towards their competition Red Ribbon Bakery (also in this shopping center) because they tend to look cleaner and displays are more organized. There staff at Valerio's is not super friendly, but not rude either. Again their competition seems to have friendlier staff. My wife and son like to go to Valerio's because they have some items that their competition doesn't have.

What's up with all the low ratings here? 2 items that are a must try are the crispy Turon and the Ube bread! The crispy Turon is a deep fried banana roll that is to die for! It's crunchy, sweet, and hits the spot! The ube bread roll is basically senorita bread coated with a thick layer of Ube (Taro) spread on top! It's a little too sweet for my liking so make sure not to overdo it so you don't get hyperglycemia! The next time you're craving sweets, I highly recommend going for one of these two delights!

I am very disappointed with Valerio's. There used to be 6 ube ensaymada in a container, now there's 4 only for the same price. How about putting 1/4 of a banana inside the turon, it was all wrapper. What a rip off, I guess won't be getting much here, too bad.

In general I love Valerio's The one in Vallejo is great the one in Colma ( SF ) is not as good. Colma / South San Francisco one tends to put out food that should be thrown away . I've bought multiple items from Valerios in Colma / South San Francisco and had mold or it was bad the SAME DAY

I love the bread here but seriously they're not clean. The first bag I got had a small fly in it. Returned it 8 minutes later. I get this bag home and start eating it to find another bug in it.

I bought a bag of bread from here and found a fly in it. Returned it and brought this one home only to find another bug in it.

Can't go wrong with their baked chicken empanadas, warm and fresh from the rack.

I just bought some Monggo hopia and tried it. The first bite was disgusting! It tasted like cigarettes and smelled like it too. I thought I was going crazy so I have my family try a bite and they agreed with me. This is ridiculous and disgusting! UPDATE: I went back and asked for a refund and the lady at the front said it's just burnt monggo. But burnt monggo doesn't taste like menthol cigarettes so I'm just gonna say that. DO NOT TO GET YOUR MONGGO HOPIA HERE.

Only purchased the Hopia Monggo and the Kuchinta recently from this location and they were both awful. The hopia is nothing like the hopia I've had from the St. Francis location. This one from Callan had a nasty smoked flavoring that resonated more like cigarettes burning in a bbq pit. Just so awful that I had to throw it away after taking one bite! Next was the kuchinta and as much as I wanted to like it, it was just too thick and the coconut was dry. Unfortunately, this site is sub par in quality to the other locations I've frequented. It's ashame.

The ladies behind the counter are rude! They literally talk and complain about you in Tagalog and yes I understood what they were saying! Most importantly they don't practice the 6 ft of Social Distancing when both cash registers are open and are only 12 inches apart!

Went there today and made a purchase for $76 but when I checked my bank statement it said I was charged for $91. Nice try. I’m disputing this and letting everyone know how you’re adding charges after the fact. You can’t just add a tip on your behalf.

Comparing the price of their pimiento cheese spread selling for $8 or so (reg size plastic cup) you are better off buying a 2 pack peanut butter in costco even if it cost you $10 ... half of the cassava cake is made of mush sugary stuff ... sign of the times ... sadly over priced...
