My gf and I just got back from our trip to Argentina and we were craving a good asado. I didn't expect to find anything so close to us but this restaurant was a pleasant surprise! We ordered the parrilla for two and everything was great! The parrilla comes with chicken, beef, sausage, and morcilla (+salad). You can't have an Argentinian experience and not order flan with dulce de leche so we went all out and ordered one (even though we were already in a food coma). Service was great too! Vamos Boca!!!

Food is delicious and the restaurant is clean. I would recommend ordering their "parrillada". It can easily serve 2-3 people. Wait time for the food to come out is a little long but the food is totally worth the wait. Their chimichurri is spot on

Pretty solid food, quite place and small. Parking can be a miss sometimes so suggest going during the week. It's been a So City staple for years.

Villa del Sol restaurant in South San Francisco what an incredible meal. Have always wondered about it, family visiting and decided to try a place we had never been. A little worried when it was empty at 7 on a Friday night but was so happy we stayed. Argentinian. 5 kinds of empanadas, so large we cut them in half. We got the mixed grill supposed to feed 2-3, easily fed 4. The meats and chicken were so tender and flavorful. Lovely chimichurri sauce just added to the flavor. Followed by flan and alfajor butter cookies. If your in the area try it out

The best Argentinian grill in the whole Bay AreaA family restaurant, you’ll see tables with white tablecloths and maybe you think is a fancy restaurant but not that is so tradicional in Argentinian grill restaurants, the way they serve the meat tho and the kind of meats, chorizo, morcilla and offal are really 100% tradicional. As a Argentinian girl I’m so happy to have this restaurant close to eat and talk with my people ! I highly recommend this place

There are not many Argentine options in the Bay Area, so when I get a hankering for morcilla or a parrillada, this is where I go. The kids enjoy the spaghetti and love the rice. I just come for the meats and have been doing so on/off over many years. Solid and gets the job done.

We cherished this lodging. It's perfect, calm and agreeable The staff are exceptionally kind and well disposed. It is lovely to stroll into and it was just a 30 brief drive to the biggest attractions. We truly partook in the pool and hot tub too. Was effectively the best shower we have had in a lodging. My main desire is that they would place conditioner in the washrooms.tip: We saved stopping at dock 39 any time we anticipated being downtown. It was just $15 for the entire day

Daydreaming about Argentina led me to this restaurant listed on Yelp. I guessed this would be a safe bet to take my honey & father-in-law, both unapologetic carnivores. The one room restaurant feels like a family affair, more comfy than fancy. Decorated in the colors of the Argentinian flag, photos on the wall, soccer on the TV. The menu is a bit pared down from what is on the website; clearly the parrillada is the most popular order. We ordered one empanada, ham & cheese, to try: nice thin crisp shell holding cubes of ham swimming in gooey cheese. I'm not an expert on empanadas, but this was fine & would certainly make a lot of kids happy. We were served a warm sliced bollito with butter & offered more, plus a generous salad of mixed greens, sliced onions & tomatoes with a vinaigrette. The parrillada, mixed grill, came out on its own tabletop grill & included sausages, cuts of beef & pork & chicken thighs. All were salted during cooking ( not too salty for us but you might want to ask them to reduce the salt if you need to watch your sodium ). Chimichurri was on the table. Don't skip the sweetbreads which are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside like what you wish chicken nuggets were like. & do have the wonderfully beefy, garlicky morcilla imported from Argentina ( the server said a lot of Americans wouldn't eat blood sausage ). 3 of us struggled to finish the parrillada listed as serving for 2. No room for flan or alfajores. With 2 sangrias & 1 Argentinian beer, the tab with tip was under $100. On street free parking on So SFs main drag is a bit limited, but after a U turn we snagged a space directly across the street.

Good food but something was off with the pricing. I made some substitutions because I don't eat pork (substituted with chicken) and the bill had an extra $25 dollars to it. I was surprised but since I already ordered for take out, I didn't bother confronting the bill. Make sure to inquire before making any substitutions to the existing menu.
