Enjoyed the mojo and Verde mole dishes with chicken. Generous portions, the beans were nice and creamy, and the rice was cooked and seasoned well. Large portions of chicken on both plates. We would have liked the sauces a little more flavorful, and we kept looking for some heat. Disappointed they no longer have chicharrones on the menu (even though it is actually on the menu!), we ordered chips and guacamole. Heard about this place through a fb foodie page so we decided to check it out. I was excited to have a pambazo since it had been ages since I've had one. I was not disappointed! The Chilango pambazo was exactly what I was hoping it would be. We also tried the huarache with Pollo en Cacahuate, which was a mildly spicy peanut sauce and absolutely delightful. The white mole enchiladas were tasty and unique and the service was great. We can't wait to go back.

Ranas is the best! The food is so great; the people are so nice; and the drinks are cheap and delicious. The tricolor mole enchiladas (see picture below) are fantastic—really complex flavors. And the pambazo is a torta meets a wet burrito; they’re my favorites.
