“This is a nice clean Mexican restaurant offering typical Gringo Style Mexican Cuisine. One of my Touchstone dishes at any Mexican restaurant is the chile relleno. A properly made chili relleno will be made from a fresh Anaheim or poblano Chile properly balanced whipped egg coating. Stuffed with a melty cheese and covered with a nice tomato sauce this is an important menu item at any Mexican restaurant in my opinion. Mexican Village happens to make a good one. I rate it four and a half stars out of five.“

I also decided to get my wonderful and caring co-worker a lunch sandwich from their menu and one for myself. I got the turkey croissant sandwich (with avocado and jalapenos!!!) and it was equally as delicious and hearty as the breakfast sandwich!! I am sold! Today, I forgot my lunch. Oh no! What do I do? “This place has been a fixture of the San Fernando Valley for decades! It's a family-ran operation with consistent donuts every single time! My husband grew up enjoying their donuts since he was a toddler and he introduced it to me when we started dating. He had been stationed overseas and I'd bring him donuts from here. When we got married, we skipped the cake and opted for several dozen donuts from here! Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we had to cancel the reception and the donut order, but I remember how easy they made it and how confident we were there wouldn't be any issues. They also seemed to have a good variety of donuts. The donuts did not have an old burnt oil odor which is an issue in a lot of donut shops.Cons: I bought sugar donuts. They were a bit on the dry side. The sugar on them was too much and not fine enough. The donuts themselves were also sweeter than normal. It's all a matter of taste though. Some love it that sweet.“

“I stop twice a week here for my lunch. Their croissant sandwich are really good. If I have to choose a favorite I think it would be their Ham Egg and Cheese Croissant It's prepared perfectly. Their service is really good they are very friendly as well. The store is very clean and up to standard I like that also. I came around 11a so towards the usual "end" of the donut day but this place is 24hrs. I got some donut holes and a ham and cheese croissant, about $4. They do charge a credit surcharge. Donuts were warm and fresh, and the cheese in the croissant was still gooey, a great contrast to the flaky crust. There is ample parking in the lot shared with the strip mall. A homeless man did try to open the door for me, but there was so many people moving in and out of this fairly busy shop he moved on.“

We saw this place when we drove by it after exiting the freeway and my friend wanted to try it since he saw it on Ironman 2. The plaza that this place is in is also new so we were able to check it out. I found parking fine and when we came they were not busy. There was only 1 other guest in the store so we had time to look at the donut selection. I was going to get the chocolate gaze donut but then I saw the m&m raised chocolate gazed donut so went with that. My friend got the maple long john donut since he loves maple. The employees are very nice and I asked them how long they been here, they said about a year. They also said that they are planning to open a new location on Lankershim soon. We ate out donut inside the store and we both enjoyed our donut.
