I've been eating at Bhavika's on El Camino in Sunnyvale since 2005. In a city with so many Indian restaurants, it's hard to stand out, but Bhavika's does just that. This small hole-in-the-wall restaurant serves really good Indian dishes with simple flavors, was surprised by them, haven't seen many of these in the Bay Area all trying to serve exotic ones instead.

I have been going to this place for more than 15 years. My favorite items are chatpat and pizza paratha. I have tried almost everything here and it is authentic and simple. I order churma laddoo and besan laddoo every now and then. Love this place.
