The dahi papdi chaat was fresh and spicy, with snappily juicy texture. The ragda pattice had hefty shots of taste. Our friend complained about the lack of spice in his vada pav, but since I hadn’t tasted the vada pav, I can’t rate it. The service was great, and the decor looked quirky with metal craft and ornate wooden panels.
My goto place. This place has some really good food (more inclined towards homemade style cooking rather than restaurant style food).My favorites are Makke di roti Saro da Saag, Dal Makhani, Malai Paneer, Aloo onion paratha, Methi paratha, House combo (everyday different entrée), Chole Bhature. I usually get the thali here -- it's excellent, and affordable. One of my favorite local Indian spots. No waiters to deal with -- order at the counter, and the food arrives quickly. Not too crowded -- there really should be more customers, given how good the food is !
