The smell of baked goods as you walk in the store is incredible. Many of the items are self serve using trays and sheets of paper, similar to a Paris Baguette. Maybe I've gotten used to overpriced bakery items in the Bay Area, but the items at Ruby's were surprisingly reasonably priced. One example was a Mexican style chocolate croissant. The pastry was soft and had a nice chew to it; and instead of sticks of melted chocolate inside, the croissant was filled with a chocolate pudding....read full review
Tried some conchas, some other different breads, a piece of tres leches cake and a piece of flan. All were delicious! Prices were really reasonable. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

As you enter you are greeted by the sweet and delicious smell of pan dulce! Each pan melts in your mouth so that’s how you know it’s freshly made! I buy $10 worth of pan dulce on a weekly basis. The variation is great too!
