*UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT*I've been going to sake bomb for quite sometime and loved it, However, prior to the management change, they would close around 9pm. NOT ANYMORE! Came here for lunch with a friend and we enjoyed our meal. We got seated right away and the staff quickly brought out the menus. My friend opted for a bento box with a couple of sushi rolls while I got the 9-piece sashimi platter. Both our meals came with miso and salad. My sashimi pieces were nice, thick cuts and tasted fresh and fatty. My friend's sushi rolls were big - they weren't primarily rice either, it actually came with a good serving of protein inside. It was late getting into the hotel across the street so we gave their late nite happy hour a try. I know it’s Calif but “happy hour” didn’t appear to affect drink value… maybe they cut the price a little and make them smaller. We tried a few 串物(grilled skewers) but were underwhelmed.
