“Great location for green cheek. everything about this place is fantastic. Great service and food and wonderful atmosphere either downstairs or upstairs with a view of the ocean. The beer is fantastic as well but I already knew that from their orange ”
“I've been here so many times but today was the first time I had the pesto which was delicious. I never knew the ingredients for pesto after reading it I felt as if I could taste each ingredient. Everything here is so flavorful. Highly recommend”
“This place is a sunset beach staple. Been going here for 25 years - well before it was redone. Our band played there when we got out of high school, and back then it was pretty rowdy. Peanut shells on the ground, the bar was falling apart, and the jukebox had CDs. While I miss the old "Mother's Beer & Wine", they did a nice job restoring it, and you can always count on a cold beer, a friendly bar staff, and cool patrons when you arrive. Peanuts are optional.”
“Woody's Diner is definitely a spot worth checking out! Our experience there was nothing short of fantastic. Our server, Keelyn, was an absolute gem. Not only was she super attentive, but she also took the time to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. She even went the extra mile by providing recommendations and popular choices from the menu, which we really appreciated. Speaking of the menu, the food was outstanding. I opted for their signature omelette, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Not only was it a generous portion size, but it was also bursting with flavor without tasting greasy or heavy. My wife decided to go with the pancakes, and she was equally impressed. They were fluffy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. One thing that really stood out to us was the family-friendly atmosphere. Not only did they have coloring crayons available for our toddler, but Keelyn also suggested some nearby family activities we could enjoy after our meal, which was a nice touch. Overall, Woody's Diner exceeded our expectations in every way. From the attentive service to the delicious food and cozy ambiance, we couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by Woody's Diner. You won't be disappointed!”
“You will be very surprised that this place has crab legs at the same price and quality of Captain Jacks which is up the street and not easy to get a table at. My order was take out due to some unique circumstances of the evening but I'm so glad I found this secret because it was surprisingly delicious and affordable. You want great crab legs then King Neptune's has you covered!”
“I love this place it's been so long since we came here. I was craving a delicious breakfast today so suggested Harbor House. What can I say, been coming here for like 20 years wow that's such a long time! It doesn't even feel like that long, this place is amazing. I love their corn beef hash and eggs, I always have them make it extra crispy, the hash browns extra crispy and I got a side of extra crispy bacon. I remember they used to have the home style potatoes if I remember correctly, but it's been a while since we have been here so sort of forgot. I also had a coke with grenadine so delicious. My husband ordered the Denver Omelette with cheese with hash browns and coffee. Was a nice brunch/lunch. Usually this place is always packed with lines out the door. Today it wasn't too busy maybe we came at the off time of day. The parking lot is small and is a little crazy when it is busy but I love that it's near Sunset Beach. I love coming down here such a beautiful drive and area. Our server was super friendly and helpful. Brought our drinks and food out quickly. I love the ambiance here with all the posters of old movies and the pictures of the movie stars on the walls, the lights too, they have posters hanging on the sealing's as well. Where we sat at the top part in the back area they have these old bingo games all over the walls to which I love. Nice that they haven't changed anything for the last 25 years. Still cool atmosphere I forever love. We usually always sit in the top area of the back of the restaurant so we can overlook everything and have a private sort of area which is nice. All the food here is delicious! I highly recommend this place if you haven't been here before. 5 stars for great service, delicious food, cool atmosphere and for being one of my favorite breakfast places to go for so many years! Thank you for always having delicious food and being consistent for so many years. Have a beautiful day :) Aloha”
“For the better part of my life, this establishment has been my top choice for indulging in succulent King Crab Legs and savoring bites of the finest Prime Rib Dinner. Bringing home the leftovers is always a must! The impeccable service never disappoints, and the prices are remarkably competitive for such exceptional fare. With its charming old-school ambiance and vibe, it's reassuring to know that consistency and quality are guaranteed, making it a true gem in dining experiences.”
“The Restaurant and BAR sign is amazing, my friends and I have been talking about it while eating at the phenomenal Calico Fish Restaurant across the street. Haven’t been in but love the sunset mural as well.”
“This is my favorite restaurant of the year! Exceptional food and service, and I love the ambiance of being in a converted home. The menu is almost constantly changing (so plenty of temptation to go back). The first time I visited Heritage I booked a return trip as soon as I left the restaurant. Fortunately (for my bank account, if not my taste buds) I live a couple of hours away, otherwise who knows how often I'd be there.A must try!”
“Magnificent, fabulous, the most delicious sexiest pizza I’ve ever had.The service is beyond! Their soft serve is to die for. And the vibes are so cute! Will be breaking up with little coyote! Also forgot to take a photo because it was sooo good!”
“There's definitely a reason this place keeps coming up everywhere as number ones bartenders are nice with a touch of sass like you'd like at a dive bar, but it's elevated. The prices are pretty pricey, but for the love ingredients and originality of the cocktails I guess it's alright, but I'm not staying for more than two lol. We ordered 4 cocktails and two mocktails and it was about $100 so time to go home lol. They have yummy little snacks and overall we were happy with this new Long Beach spot.”
“This is truly a gem of a hole in the wall!! Almost literally, and I say that with respect and appreciation. This cute little eatery is easy to miss, being tucked in a very small strip mall (if it even qualifies as that!) between a small pharmacy and a laundromat, just south of the Arco on the corner of PCH and Pacific. But once you have eaten here, boy oh boy is it hard to forget!I come here about once every other week when I'm on a regular work schedule. Became hooked immediately with their unique bahn mi sandwiches and their pate chaud. Now I'm completely obsessed with their plant-based shrimp spring rolls and their grilled pork bun bowl. That bowl is the perfect balance of light and filling, flavorful and refreshing. It is one of my lunch go-to options. And the plant-based shrimp rolls are AMAZING. Obviously I'm not vegan, but this is an item that I enjoy so much despite it all.I have yet to try their pho. Maybe one of these days. They do have seating inside, but no restroom. Also, parking lot is small and shared, so I avoid coming during peak lunch hours, usually after 1 to pick up my food, and I've had no issues.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, flavorful too!Parking: Parking lot is pretty small and shared with a pharmacy, laundromat and discount store.”
“Hella Great smash burgers! Orange Cream soda was perfection. Nice day sitting on the patio watching guys shank their tees off the first tee box Owner wants to make sure everything is perfect. We will be back.”
“Great quality, friendly atmosphere, definitely going to be a regular!A hidden gem in Garden Grove. Japanese owned omakase that focuses on seasonal offerings. Ben and Ayako make you feel welcome once you walk in those doors. The menu is hand written and you can see the focus and care that Ben puts with each piece of nigiri. If you want to come and get a bite, make sure you make your reservations at least 2 weeks in advance.”
“First time trying and definitely will be back, the food was good , customer service was great, chef came out help me out real good experience and the food again AOoonnnneeee!!! Definitely will be ”
“I highly recommend this spot for authentic Cambodian cuisine. Our group of four didn't have to wait long and there was an iPad outside for joining the waitlist for a table. There's a variety of noodle options available. We tried the Phnom Penh Noodle Special dry and soup, Beef and Meatball Noodle, Pork Rice Porridge with fried breadstick, and ordered round bread on the side. While the round bread was too dense and hard, the meat bread had too many onions. Despite the rushed service causing a couple of mistakes, the overall experience was quite good, with fast and efficient customer service. It was very hard to find parking there so we had to park in the neighborhood.”
“Certainly, here's a draft for your review:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"Sushi Nikkei in Bixby Knolls truly stands out as a top-tier dining experience. While the food is undeniably fantastic, what truly sets this restaurant apart is the impeccable service. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of your meal is nothing short of exceptional. The sushi selection is diverse and delicious, showcasing a perfect blend of traditional Japanese flavors with innovative twists. Each dish is beautifully presented and bursting with freshness. Whether you're a sushi enthusiast or new to Nikkei cuisine, this restaurant offers an unforgettable culinary journey. I highly recommend Sushi Nikkei for an unparalleled dining experience that exceeds expectations in both food quality and service."”
“Cute & cozy breakfast spot in Huntington that you must try! Decided to stop in twice on our short 3 day trip to CALI. Great coffee flavor combos, milk options, and food. The breakfast sandwich was delicious however the quiche was just *chefs kiss* If you’re in the area and trying to find a place to eat, don’t question it and just stop here. You won’t be disappointed!”
“First time we try this place and it has become our new fav brunch/lunch spot in Long Beach right away! The food is super tasty and healthy, definitely one of the best vegan food I ever had in LA. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. To top it off, the patio tables and indoor/outdoor space make it very dog friendly which was perfect for our dog (it’s also 5min from Rosie’s beach, so very convenient!)”
“Super delicious food, love their vegitable pho and their combination pho. I've had their Banh Mi before, and it's one of the best ones I've had. I highly recommend you try out their teas as well.”
“I had a lovely experience havingAfternoon Tea at Chez Bacchus. The whole presentation was wonderful and the food that isserved with the tea was exceptional. I recommend it highly.”
“Ok finally tried it. Wow. Delicious!! Hats off to this little place. Nailed it!! The crew was friendly and the food is worth the wait. The price is fair for the quality. We had the OG breakfast burrito and you won’t find a better one anywhere. Congratulations on your fantastic business. We shall return”
“Didn't have to wait for a table on a Friday night for a party of two. I think if you're a larger party, you may have to wait. Got cha gio, pho tai chin, and a cafe sua da. The cha gio and cafe sua da was nothing special. Not the best I've had, but not bad at all. The star of the show was the broth of the pho. It was very tasty, with no overpowering notes from a singular spice. All the ingredients from the beef in the pho tai, to the vegetables served with the cha gio were very fresh.”
“Viaje on 2nd Street in Long Beach is a delightful addition to the Mexican dining scene. From the flavorful dishes to the attentive service and inviting atmosphere, my visit was truly enjoyable. I highly recommend trying this new gem.”
“A la carte meats for bbq seem expensive: boneless short ribs ($43) and beef tongue ($33), but the restaurant offers generous complimentary side dishes. It’s quite nice that the waitress cooks the food at the table for us.”
“Wow!! Everything about this place was amazing. The decor, the staff, the food. Can't wait to come back. Galata Turkish Halal Grill is on the corner of Belmont and Nieto. Depending on what time you come free parking can be difficult to find. They provide indoor seating and a few tables outside as well. I came with a friend and were seated within seconds. We ordered the Galata salad, a chicken donor wrap, and a beef donor wrap. To our surprise they brought out a plate of sun-dried tomatoes in herbs and oil with some fresh warm bread to start, so good! The food we ordered was delicious. We both agreed that the beef donor wrap was our favorite of the two. As for the salad, I thought corn was an interesting topping to add but I felt that the flavors went well together. The dates and the caramelized walnuts were a nice touch. However, my friend was on the fence about it. She mentioned it was too lemony for her taste. So keep that in mind if your preference is similar to hers when ordering the Galata salad. The staff had to have been the best part of the whole experience they were all so kind and very helpful when we were not sure what to order. They even gave us complimentary pomegranate tea when we finished our food. This place is a must try in my opinion.”
“My favorite shop in Long Beach, and the best frittata I've ever had anywhere, ever. Seriously. The patio is cute AF.I get a cold brew growler every week, and the ricotta jam toast is so good. All of the jams are made in house or locally. The service is always flawless and kind, and they know many of their customers by name ?️⚧️?️?”
“This charming coffee shop offers a delightful atmosphere, blending cozy decor with a warm ambiance. The rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee enhances the experience. From the first sip to the last bite, the menu impresses with its diverse selection of delicious and well-crafted food items. The friendly staff adds to the overall welcoming vibe, making it a perfect spot for both work and relaxation.”
“The BEST Thai restaurant I’ve ever been in my life! We went to Long Beach for conference and found this cute local Thai restaurant which happens to be in Michelin guide. Foods were so good that we spent half of meals here. Definitely will come back and recommend to all friends! I’d say it’s the only worth trying restaurant in Long Beach area!”
“Great food! Very good service. We've been going here for years. Always consistent. Just ordered a delivery order and sure it will be as good as ever. Thank you!!”
