Great little Mexican restaurant, been coming here for years, was my on the way home after work ready dinner spot. Gone through name changes and owners, but has always seemed to have good food.The newest rendition as Familia restaurant grill is just a good or better then all the rest. I waited for a month before trying, so the cooks could get the recipes just right and get the cooking equipment seasoned in.... the recipes are really good, mostly authentic, tasting foods. The taste will get better the more seasoned the equipment becomes, was still a little new when I visited. Got the Carne asada and it was delicious, definitely recommend. Will be eating here more often. Service was great, fast, friendly and professional. Food was cooked and ready quickly, but not too quickly, hot, fresh and not from a box...I usually go to Mike's liquor store next door for my drinks and take my food to go, not to special inside, just what you expect from a mexican fast food joint, have tables outside to eat and enjoy the weather, overall a place you should at least try and most likely will be put into your monthly restaurant rotation.Parking: Parking is easy and plentiful, enough handicap spots, never seen parking lot too full.

i Went last night it was sooo amazing ! the taquitos were the best i’ve ever had . our burritos so good . chips and salsa i order some to go. horchatas were good and rice and beans . the lady at the counter was so sweet and nice . and prices ??? so glad we found this

This is my private spot at a cheat meal day and I wouldn’t change that for any fancy restaurant. The atmosphere is very warm and the lady is very friendly and helpful. It’s one of these places that you would keep going to to separate from everything and have a great meal . Best place ever ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Awesome service and BOMB adobada quesadillas! Always a great deal to come on Taco Tuesday for sure you need to try one of each of their street style tacos. Ambiance is amazing with bar seating and a couple of tables. Always try and get a bag of their chips with their salsas, but be aware of their VERY spice green sauce. I love their medium red sauce.
This is a solid go-to spot, especially when you're waiting for your car being serviced nearby for hours. Grilled fish tacos are excellent. Rolled tacos are la bomba. Guacamole is fresh, clean and delicious. Service is warm and welcoming. Atmosphere is low key, hence four stars but whatever. Go and enjoy! Thank you for all you do Familia Restaurant Grill!

I ordered soft tacos to take out. The lady was very nice. I was gonna get 6 tacos, but she told me tacos are pretty big, she showed me the tortilla size and I decided to order 4 pieces instead of 6. It was plenty for 2 of us. I really like the way she suggested and make sure I know what I am getting. The store is small and not the place I normally stop, but I think I found the place when I want Mexican food!! The restaurant is small, counter order place. There are 3 tables inside. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely go there again.
So one very important aspect of knowing a Mexican restaurant is good is the constant turnover in customers. Before even walking in I watched several people come in and out of this place. Reviews looked good, so why not. I ordered the hardshell beef taco special- under ten bucks. Pretty dang good- real fast and the people who work here are very nice. Unfortunately I will miss this going back to my home so far from here...

Born and raised in San Diego so I'm very picky about my Mexican food! My husband and I recently moved to Temecula and were on the hunt for our new spot. This being the 4th we have tried in the area and safe to say, we have found our spot! Even though you have to walk inside to order, they are quick and I believe they do call aheads! I ordered the supreme rolled tacos, a Chile relleno and my husband got a California burrito. The toppings on these rolled tacos were GENEROUS. And the meat in the burrito was cooked to perfection. A few other places nearby have delivered very chewy carne but not here! Do yourself a favor and come here!
