We were actually the winery but stopped in to get a cheese board. The price was a bit higher but WOW the selection was amazing. The chef came by to explain the board and I am glad he did because after eating it was nice to know what we just had. I was pleasantly surprised as last year we came by it was very plain. I highly suggest it.
It's been years since I ate at Callaway's Meritage restaurant. Gorgeous views, beautiful property overall. The restaurant is covered patio seating with large windows that give a great vineyard view facing west. We were there on a Tuesday, which was a low crowd day and perfect weather! Service was excellent! Margarita pizza was yummy! We had visitors from out of town and they were impressed by this winery and restaurant. The Crispy Pork Belly and Wagyu Steak paired with the Callaway Zinfandel deserve special mention. It was overall an incredible dining experience. Great place to bring friends and family!
