“We love this place. On Taco Tuesday, it's our jam. Love that they give free chicken to my son (dog) and that their ground beef tacos are so yummy. The homemade flour tortillas are awesome and don't forget to ask for a sampler of the secret salsas they offer - YUM“
“Excellent. Stopped over for lunch. Had a younger child with us (two adults). Service and food was excellent. Huevos y Papas = A+ and the veggie fajitas same!!! Soooo good. Huge portions, we took home enough to eat a meal later. Best thing tho???? Their table salsa..omg. we gobbled it up and actually bought 16oz to take home. Our waitress was kind, prompt, and provided kid friendly drink ware and an extra plate without prompts.“
“Great little Mexican restaurant, been coming here for years, was my on the way home after work ready dinner spot. Gone through name changes and owners, but has always seemed to have good food. The newest rendition as Familia restaurant grill is just a good or better then all the rest. I waited for a month before trying, so the cooks could get the recipes just right and get the cooking equipment seasoned in.... the recipes are really good, mostly authentic, tasting foods. The taste will get better the more seasoned the equipment becomes, was still a little new when I visited. Got the Carne asada and it was delicious, definitely recommend. Will be eating here more often. Service was great, fast, friendly and professional. Food was cooked and ready quickly, but not too quickly, hot, fresh and not from a box...I usually go to Mike's liquor store next door for my drinks and take my food to go, not to special inside, just what you expect from a mexican fast food joint, have tables outside to eat and enjoy the weather, overall a place you should at least try and most likely will be put into your monthly restaurant rotation.Parking: Parking is easy and plentiful, enough handicap spots, never seen parking lot too full.“
“After seeing an ad for this place claiming that its burgers were the best in town, I felt that I must check this out for myself. I had my chance on the way back from a 210-mile roundtrip between Redlands and San Diego to fetch a cushion that I had inadvertently left in a rented room at Courtyard by Marriott--Central in San Diego on the day I embarked on the Disney Wonder. The gasoline alone cost more than the cushion was worth, and my time must still have some value even though I have long been retired. Yet I was fond of this cushion, and like to clean up messes that I create. Diane thought it made no sense for me to retrieve the cushion, and refused to go with me. So, I drove by myself, and had a fine meal on the return trip. In fact, the Cheeseburger I ordered is the best of several I have tried this year. And the restaurant already received a Best in the Inland Empire award for 2024. My about 1/3 pound burger, cooked medium rare as ordered, was equipped with very fresh tomato slices, fresh lettuce leaves, swirls of Red Onion, and a slice of melted American Cheese all encased inside a soft Sesame Seed Bun. It was accompanied by a huge amount of slightly crisp and blonde Julienned French Fries that were just excellent. A Half-Basket of Onion Rings dipped in Heinz Tomato Ketchup, the restaurant's Secret Sauce, and Ranch Dressing featured hot, golden and crunchy O' Rings that harmonized nicely with the burger and fries. And I washed everything down with 1-1/2 glasses of Coke Zero. Service by Nayita was friendly, efficient, and responsive. After the burger was ordered, a rack of helpful condiments was also provided. And seating in a booth equipped with a widescreen color television was quite comfortable. While there is a bar on premises, and several libations are featured that contain alcohol, don't let the name of this restaurant fool you. Several families were present and seeming to enjoy themselves without anyone ordering beer. There is also an eye-popping dessert menu that offers an array of sweet treats. And please don't feel sorry for Diane. She looks forward to sharing this new find with me in the near future, which I have promised to do.“
“been going here since i was a kid. never thought this place would close just like that. so heartbreaking and a major loss for temecula. the ONLY delicious and authentic food at this place. so sad i could cry. even more sad for anyone who never got to taste it“
“After a long drive was so happy to find this place so close off the freeway. Wonderful food... not the awful tough tiny meat pieces you often get. Good price to value. The staff was absolutely lovely as well! Restaurant was so clean and smelled great.“
“The best, Mexican food in Temecula! We love this place, because they can make EVERYTHING extra spicy when you ask them.., and it will actually be spicy! Everything is freshly made even the salsa and chips! They have Cafe De Olla and the drinks are on point. This is now our go to breakfast spot and dinner when we want Mexican food.Try the camarones a la diabla- extra spicy ?️So good! Love you Margaritas!“
“Love this place.Try to go there often.Food is great people are greatParking: There's about 50 parking spots. No problem parking even during the busy time.Kid-friendliness: Always kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchairs.“
“My partner enjoys their fish tacos more than Alberto's. I l enjoyed the thickness of the my burrito tortilla, but I was ok with the fries in my California burrito. The horchata was a little watered down. Prices were comparable to other similar taco shops.“
“I really enjoyed this spot after going to a winery. It sparked my interest because fish tacos duh and aguachile! We could not finish these amongst 2 people. These were loaded fish tacos. It was empty when we showed up but it also was a Tuesday on my bday. I got some great photos because of this. I'm sure the ambience is awesome when it's more packed... me honestly...I don't mind when it's empty. I felt extra special lol“
“Dine/take-out here at least 2 times a week. Always consistently tasty. Lighter side taco salad and potato tacos plate are the gotos for being vegetarian. Green sauce/salsa and the jalapeño salsa are delish. Prices are good as well. Fav spot in the area. The staff is personable and friendly also.“
“I've been coming to Rosa's Tortilla Factory since I first arrived in Temecula in 2005. We've since (sadly) moved away, but it's nice to see, on our return visits, that Rosa's is still largely unchanged. For anyone interested in Baja cuisine, be aware that Rosa's is more of the Tex Mex style of Mexican food. It's a small step up from fast food, though infinitely more authentic than something like Taco Bell or Del Taco. The main attraction for me are their cheese enchiladas, tamales, and of course, the freshly made tortillas which are out of this world good. Generally, any combination plate ordered comes with two of the homemade tortillas, or they may be ordered separately. The ground beef can be a bit bland, ditto the shredded chicken in fare like their regular crunchy tacos. I usually order the two cheese enchilada plate and a pork tamale and am usually on the edge of requiring medical assistance to exit the building upon completion of said meal. Their salsa bar is also pretty solid. Be aware, the chile de arbol salsa is labeled HOT for very good reason, but if you need to spot weld your tongue to your fork, it gets the job done.“
“1st time there. Only went for bosses mother’s Mexican Coke. WOW!!! Who knew this was here! Fresh pan dulce, great drink assortments, fresh drinks made, meat market, etc…. What a great find. Not to mention the workers were all so nice and helpful.“
“MUST HAVE!!! My boyfriend and I just visited for the first time after our workout today. Baja was down the street and seemed like a wonderful spot to try. We both were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere and menu— we ordered a few types of tacos, including the marlin, shrimp, battered fish, Carne, Asada, etc. as well as rice and beans, and we were amazed at the quality of our food. It was also fresh and tasted delicious, including the salsas! Victor was a wonderful presence at the front counter, and we will certainly be back!“
“All around 5 stars, the food is great, the service is fast but not at the expense of quality. I go here very often and I can only recall them making a small mistake on one order. It is a bit more expensive than other competitors, however they give you huge servings which makes it a much better deal over all. I'm over 6ft over 200lbs and one burrito can feed me for a whole day or be my dinner two (sometimes three) days in a row. I love their food and so does my girlfriend! HIGHLY recommend!“
“Ok, to start I wouldn't normally leave a second review for a place I already love, but recently was there and decided to try the their lengua and tripas tacos along with my go to the birria, this place keeps impressing me with the quality of their food and the service. Everything has been on point. Right now I'm probably stopping by about once a week and honestly it just feels like a good old neighborhood taco shop with the added bonus of a great little bar right next to The Smok'd Hog.“
“I was fortunate enough to find this local gem 3 years ago! Food is delicious and authentic. The service (from servers) is great even when busy!I would suggest that some if the young ladies that greet you had a different attitude, I'm a regular customer and some greet you with an attitude.Luckily, the servers make up for it!Went again this Monday with my husband as soon as they opened and our server JOE went ABOVE & BEYOND with his service! He's the reason I decided to leave this review! He's a great asset to La Cocina, hope to see him again! Great young man. And the food, like always, consistently fresh and delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant. For those complaining about the gratuity being included, NO you don't have to leave an additional tip like some mislead you to think. They actually cross out the part where it says TIP on your receipt. DON'T BE CHEAP! ??“
“This is the best Mexican and Seafood restaurant in town, the food is very delicious and served a good portion for your money. The service is fantastic and spacious dinning section. Vero also have very delicious homemade salsa bar yummy! I would highly recommend this restaurant great food a must try.Parking: Easy parking in front of the restaurant“
“Went to try this place for the first time. I swear the food tastes like it was made fresh by a family from Mexico. The birria ramen was to die for. My husband got the chilaquiles and we got a kid's meal for baby girl. The prices scared us a bit but the taste of everything made it all worth it. Our server Josh is definitely the guy to ask for. He had some recommendations on food, drinks, and even salsa. Would for sure recommend to anyone looking for good Mexican food.Kid-friendliness: Good-sized booths and tables for families of all sizes“
“I brought my parents here because I remember how good the food was when I lived in Temecula. It was as delicious as I remember it! The tacos are on special on Tues and are generous and tasty. My parents loved the enchiladas and chile Verde. The beans are phenomenal though! The lady at the counter was busy but found time to be kind and helpful. Top notch food for a unassuming little spot.“
“Came for the fried ice cream and tried the food. Not the usual sequence, but that's how we did it. We've been here about four times in the past two weeks. Food is really good and service is great. My wife had the macho burrito (I think that's the name). It was huge. The pozole is delicious as well. Our new favorite place.“
“I love Asian fried rice and chaufa is the Peruvian take on Chinese fried rice. The main ingredients are pretty much the same. but the seasoning / sauce is very distinct which gives the dish its delicious flavor. The chaufa at La Choza also includes a small container of extra sauce. Also, the lady who greets and takes orders is one of the nicest people ever! ??️ ??“
“Axiel took great care of us last night. The restaurant was slammed and he had such a calm and friendly demeanor despite that. When I got home, I realized they had failed to put the chips in the bag, so I went back to retrieve the chips and the apology was very heartfelt. He made it right for me and my wife by including a free taco. The food was hot and delicious and we will definitely be coming back again. Thank you Los Tacos for providing customer focused experience and serving up hot and delicious Mexican food!“
“I have getting food from your establishment for over 10 years and I have been taking care of my food by Eva never had a bad food service. Always with a smile. Knows my daughter order and takes care of my daughter like if was her own. I love Eva. Every time I called in my order she knows how my daughter likes her burritos and makes sure her order it’s fine. The other girls are good too. There’s one that already knows that the order it’s for Judy. That’s good customer service“
“I am obsessed with this place . please update your hours online . i’ve showed up at 8am the last 3 weeks in a row to get one of your amazing breakfast burritos and you are not open and there is no one in the restaurant. Quite sad . Other than that i love the food !!!“
“This week was first time I've eaten there. Food was delicious. I had the taco plate with chicken and beef taco and beans and rice. So so good! I usually stay at the Temecula Signature in the same parking lot and drive around to eat. This is my go to place when I go back out there.“
“Went for a date night with my husband friday night, we were very happy with our meal. The server was very welcoming and took good care of us. I got a ceviche appetizer which was delicious. I then got the green salsa chicken enchiladas. They were excellent, and the sauce on top gave it a unique taste than any other enchiladas i usually get elsewhere. My husband got a battered shrimp taco and pibil taco which he loved. The latin music playing in the background was cool, and the restroom was clean. The only thing i didn't like was that they had golf playing on both giant tv screens. It took away from the ambiance. Would definitely recommend this place for it's good service and tasty food.“
“This is THE best mexican spot in Temecula. I have tried literally every place around, DSotos is my go-to for carne asada burritos. The meat is very high quality, tastes very very similar to Kennedys Meat Market, if you know you know..... 10/10“
“This is a small but well stocked Mexican market that you will have fun perusing. I've been shopping here for years, watching the store grow into a gringo- friendly establishment. There's a lot of prepared foods to take home, a butcher for those do-it-yourselfers, and hot foods ready for picnics at the park in old town. Today I purchased fresh hot corn tortillas that were being made right in front of the counter, and guacamole that tastes homemade. Taquitos for dinner. I'm can't imagine any Mexican foods that can't be found here. So give this friendly store a visit.“
“This location has a lot more selections to choose from than others La Michoacana's. The staff were helpful and thoughtful, they gave us a bag with ice to put our Popsicles in since we had to drive a little out of town and also a cup holder for the mangonadas without having to ask them.“
“It's been a long time since the last time I have eaten at Wahoo's Fish Tacos. The only thing that has changed? The prices. Good food. Fast, friendly service and a comfortable no nonsense environment. I just wish it was closer to where I live.“
“I'm grateful for Yelp in helping us find this place. It's off the beaten path in a mote industrial area, so you're not likely to run across it just by driving by. Do yourself a favor and find out anyway. Started out with terrific, friendly, and efficient service. Alex made us feel athome and welcome and was patient with our questions. Extremely accommodating and pleasant. Thank you, Alex! The food was so good we ate still talking about it the next day. I can see why carnitas are their specialty. I had the Canarios Carnitas plate, as I'm a big fan of good carnitas, and this set a new bar for me. Beautiful crispy carnitas served with rice and beans and pickled onions, and wonderful, fresh, hand-made tortillas. Alex offered to put a serving of skin on the side, and even suggested how best to enjoy it. I will remember and recommend this dish for a long time. My wife ordered the chicken flautas, which were also excellent. We will be back on our next trip.“
